You Cheated 2

Chapter 2

Looking at him, it was obvious he was worried about his little mistress losing face in front of her friends.

I let out this cold laugh, staring at him with zero fucks given.

“Leonard Walsh, where exactly are you telling me to go? Or do you two have some dirty little secrets you’re scared people might find out about?”

The next second, Priya started this pathetic little sob session.

“Maya, I know you’ve had a crush on Leo forever, and seeing him with me totally kills you inside, but love is supposed to be mutual, you know? Leo loves me. We’ve been together for two whole years, and he promised he’d marry me after I graduate. Please, I’m begging you-just stop obsessing

over him.”

Leonard definitely didn’t see that coming from Priya.

His face was cycling through emotions while he kept sneaking awkward glances in my direction.

Priya’s words completely knocked the wind out of me-I was frozen.

Leonard and I had been married for exactly two years and one month. And they’d been together for two years.

Which meant he started cheating literally one month after our wedding.

And he’d brought Priya and her mom into our house under the guise of “hiring help.”

They’d been playing me for two solid years.

That’s when the pixie-cut girl piped up again.

“Oh my God, I get it now! You’re that creepy housekeeper from Priya’s place who’s been stalking her boyfriend! I can’t believe you’re shameless enough to try stealing someone else’s man in public!”

So now I was supposedly the housekeeper? This was getting ridiculous-I actually started laughing.

“Priya, are you still living in some fantasy land? What makes you think you’re important enough for me to be your housekeeper?”

The second those words left my mouth, someone threw a drink right in my face.

The short-haired girl stood there holding her empty glass, looking smug as hell.

“Sounds like you’re the one who needs a reality check. We all know exactly who Priya is-her mom runs this huge business empire, her boyfriend owns his own company, and that entire mansion belongs to her family.”

“As for you? Yikes… I mean, look at those cheap-ass clothes you’re wearing. Not even a single brand name on you. You’re clearly only qualified for minimum-wage cleaning jobs.”

Cheap clothes?

The only reason my outfit didn’t have any visible branding was because it was custom-designed by one of the top fashion houses in the country.

The other girls started piling on, backing up Priya: “Exactly! You better apologize to Priya right now, or you won’t even have a job to go back to.”

Then some douchebag guy decided to chime in with this sleazy tone.

“Lady, aren’t you a little old to be fighting over guys with college girls? If you’re that desperate for male attention, I could always help you out.”

“I’ve never actually hooked up with someone in their thirties before. How’s two hundred for the night sound?”

The whole crowd erupted in laughter.

I wiped the alcohol off my face and stared Leonard down, speaking slowly and clearly:

“Leonard Walsh, I am your wife. You’re just gonna stand there and watch them help your side piece humiliate me like this? I’m telling you right now-you’re gonna regret this.”

Leonard’s expression was ice cold.

“Priya is my girlfriend. You brought this on yourself.”

His words were deliberately vague-typical.

Seeing all her college friends rallying around her and Leonard taking her side, Priya straightened up and got a lot more confident with her attitude.

“Look Maya, I’m being nice calling you ‘sis’ since you’re older, but you need to know your place. Normally I don’t give a shit about your little tantrums-hell, you’ve been completely disrespecting me all day and I let it slide.”

“But Leo’s a MAN, and everyone’s watching. He’s the CEO of a major company and you just bitch-slapped him in front of all these people.”

“Did you even stop to think how that makes him look?”

Then she turned to Leonard with this sickeningly sweet voice.

“Leo, I know I’m young, but I understand how to support my man and make sure he looks good in front of people. Not like some people…”

She was playing this perfectly-hitting all of Leonard’s insecurities and his pathetic need for validation.

I let out this bitter laugh.

“Oh right, thanks for reminding me-I forgot to slap you too!”

Before she could react, I grabbed a fistful of her hair and delivered two brutal slaps across her pretty little face.

Priya screamed, covering her cheek and bursting into tears.

“Maya, how dare you hit me! I’ll make you pay for this!”

“You wanna keep barking at me?”

I raised my hand to slap her again, but Leonard grabbed my wrist and shoved me hard.

I went flying backward, crashed straight into the champagne tower, and hit the ground hard. Glass shards sliced up my palm.

Leonard didn’t even glance my way. Instead, he pulled Priya into his arms and started yelling at me.

“Maya, apologize to Priya right now!”

I stared down at my palm, blood streaming everywhere.

Gritting my teeth through the pain, I started pulling out the glass pieces one by one.

Two years of marriage-just like these glass shards cutting into my hand.

Priya looked at me from the safety of his arms, smirking with pure satisfaction.

The pain in my hand made my voice drop to an icy whisper.

“Leonard Walsh, you threw your mistress a birthday party in MY house, cheated on me right to my face, and now you want me to apologize to her?”

“Are you completely brain-dead, or do you just think I’m some pushover?”

“Don’t forget-I’m your legal wife. I gave you everything you have, and I can take it all away just as fast!”
