Chapter 5
“Luna?”
Callahan’s eyes locked onto Ethan’s hands steadying me, his voice rising sharply.
“Olivia! You better explain what the hell this is about!”
I replied impatiently:
“Is there anything to explain? We broke up, remember?”
Callahan’s face turned ugly, then he let out a bitter laugh:
“Oh, broke up! Did I agree to that? Even if we did break up, you couldn’t wait one damn day before jumping into bed with some random guy? Olivia, are five years together really worth nothing to you?”
Willa gasped dramatically from the side:
“Oh my god! Olivia, even if you’re mad at Callahan, you don’t have to… degrade yourself like this, do you? You’re making a complete fool of yourself!”
They were the ones who cheated first, but now somehow it was all my fault.
In this public space, I didn’t want to escalate things, so I started to leave with Ethan.
But Willa clearly wasn’t done with her performance.
She blocked our path, deliberately raising her voice:
“I know the Norvinda Pack princess has money and power, no shortage of men around her. But Callahan loves you so much–how can you do this to him? You can’t just unilaterally call off an engagement! He never agreed to it! Now, I want you to apologize to him!”
Callahan stared at me intently, as if waiting for some kind of explanation.
My hands trembled involuntarily as I clutched my sleeves.
Ethan sensed my distress and whispered soothingly: “Don’t be afraid.”

Chapter 5
As Alpha King, Ethan’s presence naturally commanded respect–even Callahan unconsciously stepped back when faced with his authority.
Seeing my state, Ethan’s casual demeanor shifted to something far more dangerous.
He stepped forward, his fist connecting hard with Callahan’s face with the full force of an Alpha King
behind it.
Callahan, caught off guard by the sheer power, crashed to the floor hard.
“Callahan!”
Willa screamed and rushed over, crying crocodile tears.
“Olivia, we only said a few words to you! How could you let your… your guy assault people?”
Callahan licked blood from his lip, about to get up and fight back, when Ethan’s boot sent him sprawling again–this time with clear Alpha dominance radiating from him.
Ethan pulled out our ancient mating scroll, his voice carrying unmistakable authority:
“Take a good look, Doctor. Olivia and I are legally mated. Keep running your pathetic mouth about us, and you’ll discover exactly what happens when you disrespect the Alpha King’s Luna.”
The Alpha power in his voice made several nearby wolves instinctively bow their heads.
Callahan froze, then reached for the parchment with shaking hands.
Ethan smoothly pulled it back, his tone dripping with casual contempt:
“What’s wrong? The great Thorne Alpha doesn’t recognize official mating documents when he sees
them?”
“Those things can be faked online. You think I’m that stupid?”
Then Callahan turned to me, trying to assert his own Alpha authority:
“Olivia, get over here! Do you really want to embarrass yourself with him?”
Just then, Willa suddenly clutched her belly, screaming: “Callahan… my stomach hurts so bad…”
Callahan rushed to check on her condition.

Chapter 5
Using the distraction, Ethan pulled me quickly away from the crowd, his protective instincts in full Alpha mode.
Just as we were about to leave the mall, I finally calmed down.
Looking up at the mall’s advertising contact number, I suddenly smiled.
Minutes later, dozens of large screens throughout the mall began playing the intimate video Willa
had sent me.
Though Callahan quickly had it cut off, the video was already going viral online.
Within an hour, internet users had dug up everything about both of them.
As the story exploded, Callahan desperately tried to contain the damage, but every scandal he
buried was replaced by two more leaks.
Soon, the Northern Territory Council suspended Callahan’s Alpha privileges, and his position as Chief Medical Officer at the Northern Territory Medical Center was terminated. Willa was expelled from her program entirely.
Helpful netizens also discovered that Willa’s rare healing blood type was completely
fabricated–she’d somehow swapped her test results to fake the ability that got her adopted into theThunderThorne Pack.
Reading through all this news, I looked up at the man casually sipping moonshine across from me:
“This helpful netizen who keeps leaking information–that wouldn’t happen to be you, would it, Your Majesty?”
He nonchalantly set down his glass, a lazy grin spreading across his face:
“Sweetheart, I spent years chasing you before you finally became mine. That piece of shit dares call me a random guy? Yeah, I’ll remember that insult for the rest of his miserable life.”
I couldn’t help but laugh.
Ethan could go from casual and playful to terrifyingly authoritative in seconds–the perfect balance of a mate and a king.
No wonder I’d never realized how serious he was about me before.
