Sophia froze and looked at Cassius, “You?”
“Yeah!” Cassius had a matter of fact look on his face, “I’m the godfather to two kids! Wait, what’s that look on your face? Am I not handsome enough or not good enough?”
“That’s not what I meant.” Sophia pursed her lips and sighed softly as she stood up, “I appreciate the thought, but I’ve already made my decision.”
Cassius stood up after her and stared after her, “Really decided?”
“Uh–huh.” Sophia nodded, her tone firm, “I was wondering how I was going to keep this from you after the surgery,
but now that you know, you can help me keep it a secret.”
Cassius saw that her mind was made up, so he stopped trying to persuade her.
“Don’t worry, I’ll definitely help you keep it a secret.” He paused and then asked, “What time do you go to surgery
tomorrow?”
“Nine o’clock.”
“Then I’ll send you to the hospital tomorrow.”
“No need.” Sophia didn’t want to bother Cassius, “Karina is at the hospital, she’ll make all the arrangements.”
“Teacher and Auntie Helen told me to take care of you again and again before they left.” Cassius said, “You want me to keep your secret, then I should at least watch over you and make sure your surgery goes well for my peace of
mind!”
Sophia was about to say something else, Cassius jumped right in front of her and said, “It’s a deal, if you don’t say yes, I’ll call my teacher right now!”
Sophia: “……”
She doesn’t want the two elders to follow and worry, so she no longer refuses Cassius.

Sophia was sitting in the passenger seat, quietly looking out the window.
At the intersection, the red light comes on and the Range Rover comes to a slow stop.

Cassius looked at Doris‘ harmless face and couldn’t help but ask a curious question, “Did Vincent divorce you for Doris?”
Sophia looked back, glanced at the giant screen, averted her eyes in disgust, and faintly answered, “Uh–huh.”
“I heard that kid say ‘Doris’s mom‘ in every breath yesterday, so it looks like that kid has accepted Doris as his stepmother.”
“She’s not a stepmom.”
“Huh?” Cassius looked at her quizzically.
“Doris is Rowan’s biological mother.”
“Biological mother?!” Cassius had a triple earthquake, “Crap! What kind of messed up relationship is this? You and Vincent are husband and wife, but Rowan was born to Doris? You’re the stepmom, aren’t you?”
“They’re childhood sweethearts.” Sophia raised her hand and pressed her temples.
At this point in time, she had nothing to hide, so she simply told Cassius everything.
Cassius was silent for a full half minute after hearing this, and finally gritted her teeth and cursed, “Scum!”
“Vincent is simply Sven scum! Worthy of being a hand in the legal world, he’s taken all the advantage he can in this marriage of yours! What about you? Foolishly raising a son to a mistress for five years, in the end your own child is
……”
Cassius braked in time not to say the latter words.
He glanced at Sophia.
Seeing that she was still scowling, Cassius pursed his lips and sighed.
“I told you that kid doesn’t look like you! The personality is not pleasing either, so it’s born from Doris, that’s not surprising, you stay away from that kid in the future, with a real mom like that, that kid won’t be a good thing
either!”
Sophia’s eyelashes fluttered gently, and she answered in a low voice, “Okay.”
