“What’s so busy about that job of hers!”
Rowan snorted, “It’s not like she’s a big star like you are mom, she’s just a crappy fixer of things, I really don’t get what’s so great about that kind of work, I don’t like her working at all!”
Doris curled her lip, “Your Sophia’s mom isn’t really always busy working.”
Rowan froze, then looked up, “Not busy working then why didn’t you answer my calls? Still angry? That’s too long to be angry!”
“Didn’t mom tell you that last time?” Doris laughed, “Your Sophia’s mom ah might be having a baby of her own.”
Rowan’s eyes widened, “She’s really pregnant with a baby? No way!”
Doris‘ smile faded a few moments, “Why does Rowan think it’s impossible?”
“Sophia’s mom said she would only ever love me!” Rowan’s eyes reddened with anxiety, “I’ve tried so hard to be a good boy, how can she have her own baby!”
Rowan said about to get out of bed, “I don’t believe mommy Sophia is going to have her own baby, I’m going to ask
daddy!”
“Rowan!”
Doris pulled Rowan back, “You can’t go to your dad and ask him about this!”
Rowan frowned, “Why?”
A glint of malice surfaced in Doris‘ tear stained eyes.
“Because if your dad finds out that your Sophia’s mom has a new baby, he’ll be just like your Sophia’s mom and start ignoring you because of the new baby.”
At that, a strong uneasiness welled up inside Rowan.
What would he do if his dad and mom both liked the new baby and ignored him?
“Mommy, I won’t say anything!” Rowan was terrified and hugged Doris tightly, “I won’t tell anyone! I won’t let the new baby take my mommy and daddy!”
Doris let go of Rowan, her smiling eyes gazing at his tender, childlike face.
Venom like that of a snake and scorpion is hidden deep in the bottom of his eyes, “Our Rowan is the best child in the

whole world, mommy won’t let any other child take away the love and affection that is supposed to belong to you alone, mommy, will definitely help Rowan.”
At five o’clock in the evening, the Range Rover pulls up under the studio.
Sophia and Cassius get out.
The two had spent the afternoon shopping at the raw materials market and had finally bought all the raw materials they needed.
Cassius opened the trunk.
There were a bit too many things, Sophia wanted to help carry some, but Cassius directly refused.
“Don’t move, I’ll just make an extra trip myself.”
“It’s not that heavy, don’t bother.”
“I think you’re trying to get me in trouble.” Cassius plucks away Sophia’s hand that wants to take something, “My goddaughter is in your stomach, you get on the ball!”
Sophia looks at him, “You’re exaggerating.”
“You’re the one who’s too un–pregnant!” Cassius takes a portion of the raw materials, closes the trunk and raises his
chin at her, “Let’s go.”
Sophia couldn’t do anything about it, so she let him.
Back at the studio, Cassius put his things into the restoration room and turned to go back downstairs.
Sophia returned to her office and had just hung her bag and jacket on the coat rack when Betty came knocking on
the door.
“Come in.”
Betty pushed the door open, “Sister Sophia, Attorney Vincent is here.”
At the words, Sophia gave a start, then turned around.
Vincent walked in.
The man was dressed in a black suit, long and tall, with a cold face, looking at Sophia with a few scrutinizing eyes.

Those eyes, just like judging a criminal suspect.
Betty saw that the atmosphere was not quite right and slipped away.
Sophia’s face was cold, “It’s not appropriate for attorney Vincent to come at this hour, the court for divorce is already
closed.”
Vincent stared at her with a pair of gloomy eyes, “Sophia, did you do the explosive posting?”
Sophia frowned.
It turned out that Vincent was here to raise hell.
Sophia couldn’t say what mood she was in.
The same thing happened twice, and both times she was caught up in it, and before she could cry foul, Vincent was the first to come and question her.
It was ridiculous!
Sophia didn’t even bother to explain.
She looked at Vincent, her voice icy cold: “If you’ve decided it’s me, why do you need to run to ask me redundantly?”
