Chapter 53
After tearing up the sketches, Freya finally calmed down. She couldn’t help but think she had poured her heart and soul into that draft these past few days.
She sat there for a long time, lost in thought. Finally, after much deliberation, she began piecing the fragments back together, one by one.
‘Well, these are just useless scraps of paper anyway. Since I picked them up, they’re mine now, she thought to herself.
Freya studied the patterns on the scraps and then smoothed out a pristine sheet of paper. Taking up a pencil, she began sketching meticulously, each stroke deliberate and measured.
The next day, she handed the finalized design to her team, asking them to expedite production.
Once the samples were ready, Freya invited Elianna to be the brand ambassador.
Freya lowered her gaze, gently blowing on the coffee in her hands. “Has that matter from last time been settled?” she asked.
“Don’t worry,” Elianna said, straightening her clothes. “I’ve got this.”
Freya murmured with a slight nod, “Let’s lay low for the next few days. I’m worried Skylar might catch on.”
Elianna scoffed, “How good could she possibly be?”
She still remembered how easily they used to manipulate Skylar.
Freya pursed her lips. “Don’t get ahead of yourself. It never hurts to be careful.”
“Got it,” Elianna chuckled.
Freya said, “Having you endorse this collection is my way of returning the favor for cleaning up that mess for me.”
Elianna chuckled, “Ms. Lambert, you really do draw clear lines, don’t you?”
“I don’t like owing people favors,” Freya said.
Freya took a sip of her coffee. “I’ve got something else to take care of. You carry

I’ll get going.”
Elianna remained silent.
VanLier’s newly launched jewelry instantly took the jewelry world by storm. Rich ladies and socialites clamored to buy it. But as it was a limited edition, once sold out, there would be no restock.
The limited–edition strategy sent the rich ladies into a frenzy.
The price of that piece of jewelry skyrocketed overnight, reaching ten times its original value.
What originally cost just 300 thousand skyrocketed to three million in a matter of days.
Even so, nothing could stop the frenzy. The rich ladies and socialites who managed to snag a piece flooded social media with photos, raving about jewelry while tagging VanLier.
Thanks to the runaway success of its latest jewelry collection, VanLier had landed a slew of new business partnerships. VanLier’s stock price skyrocketed.
Freya was absolutely ecstatic to witness the phenomenal commercial success
Back home, she excitedly told Yana and Carlos the good news.

“You did great this time,” Yana praised Freya without reservation.
Freya lowered her head with modest grace, “This is my area of expertise. Delivering results is simply what’s expected of me.

deserve the praise for a job well done.”
Out of the corner of her eye, Yana caught sight of Skylar and Adam returning. She immediately waved them over and called out, “Skylar, Adam, come hére quickly.
“I never expected you and Freya to build such thriving businesses, each more impressive than the last.”
Skylar had barely checked her phone all day, completely immersed in her work. She had no idea what was going on.
Yana didn’t keep Skylar guessing and recounted all of Freya’s recent achievements.
Skylar chimed in politely, “Really? That’s quite impressive, Freya.”
Freya arched an eyebrow smugly, feeling the anger in her heart instantly melted away. “Thanks for the compliment, Skylar.
“I heard you landed the Campbell Group partnership. Congratulations.
“But I always thought the Campbell Group only worked with big, publicly traded companies. How did you manage to land their partnership all of a sudden?”
