Hearing that Yosef was there, Adam put down his tablet and rushed over excitedly. “Mommy, is Daddy here?”

“Take him to the conference room,” Skylar instructed.

Sophie led Yosef to the conference room, where Skylar and Adam were already waiting.
Adam dashed toward him excitedly. “I missed you so much, Daddy.”
Yosef’s usual cold demeanor melted away in front of Adam. With a gentle chuckle, he said, “Oh, really?”

“Got it.” Yosef embraced Adam and then took a seat across from Skylar. “Hello, Ms. Lambert.”
Skylar got straight to the point. She asked, “What kind of partnership?”
Yosef said, “So, I hear you have developed the CardioShield capsules?”
Skylar waited for him to elaborate.
Yosef continued, “I’d like to discuss acquiring the distribution rights for your CardioShield capsules.”
Skylar looked him straight in the eye. “What’s your offer?”
Though Skylar wanted nothing to do with him, business was business.
Yosef proposed, “How about 300 million? After that, it’s a 30-70 split, 30% for you, 70% for me.”
“Deal,” Skylar agreed without hesitation, not even attempting to negotiate.
