Chapter 294
Elianna clutched the doorframe, fighting back the fear welling up inside her. “Yosef, what are you doing here?”
Just hearing his name made her blood run cold. The trauma of him having her committed to the psychiatric hospital sull lingered.
Yoset wasn’t here for her. He fixed her with an icy gaze and ordered, “Move.”
Elianna instinctively stepped aside. Yosef strode into the hospital room with his men. Sensing danger, Elianna shut the door and slipped away.
Yosef stopped at the bedside, glaring down at Zachary. “Do you have a death wish?”
“Barely walk in and you’re coming at me all fired up? Gotta watch that blood pressure, man,” Zachary said.
Yosef sneered. “Cut the crap. Did you have someone post those photos?”
Zachary blinked, faking confusion. “What photos? I seriously have no clue what you’re talking about.”
Yosef’s stare turned hostile. “Cut the act. You know exactly what I’m talking about.”
Zachary grabbed a pillow and leaned back against it with a smirk. “Oh, that? Got any proof it was me? If not, that’s slander, and I’ll just sue you
Yosef’s lip curled into a sneer. “You think I don’t have proof?”
Then he motioned to his men behind him. “Show him.”
The laptop screen showed the account he used to contact those paid trolls, their real names, and locations.
Zachary’s eyes narrowed, then he burst out laughing. “That was me. So what?
“I thought you hated her. What’s with this sudden white–knight act?
“Wait, don’t tell me she got to you, too. Is she hot? Good in bed?” Zachary clicked his tongue.
That jab at Skylar pushed Yosef over the edge, and he slammed a punch right into Zachary’s face.
Zachary’s smug grin twisted into a scowl. “Touch me again,” he growled, “and you’ll regret it.”
He knew Yosef wouldn’t take the bait with all those people watching.
He was influential and had a reputation to protect, and beating up a patient would look bad and blow back hard.
But Yosef threw another punch. He grabbed Zachary by the collar of his hospital gown, yanked him off the bed, and slammed him to the floor. Then he kept swinging, even after his knuckles started to bleed.
Zachary, still wrecked from Skylar’s beating, couldn’t even fight back. He just lay there, his eyes starting to roll back.
Hudson cried out, “Mr. Campbell, stop! He’s not worth it! Don’t ruin yourself over trash like him.”
Yosef let go, flinging Zachary aside. He pulled out a handkerchief and wiped the blood from his hands, his voice icy, “Zachary, get online and clear it up now. Or you won’t like what’s coming.”
Zachary spat out a mouthful of blood and snapped, “Or what?
“Think I’m scared of you? Kill me if you want I’m not posting a damn thing.
“If I’m going down, I’m dragging everyone with me. Let’s all burn together. Why not, right?”

Hudson was very concerned about Yosef. Yosel had never snapped like this. He always kept it together in situations like this.
Watching him lose it now, Hudson started to believe he did care about Skylar. But was it too late now?
Yosef kicked Zachary in the stomach. Zachary cried out in pain, then burst into mad laughter. “Is that all you’ve got?”
He pressed his shoe down on Zachary’s head and hissed, “I’m still willing to talk things out with you for now. Don’t push your luck.
“Oh, go on, then. Kill me if you’ve got the guts.”
He kept saying the same line, like he had the upper hand.
He thought, ‘Yosef needs me for this. He’s not gonna do anything to me until I fix it.
But he was dead wrong. Yosef immediately ordered his bodyguards to get David over.
David was yanked straight from his home, shouting the whole way.
“Do you know who I am? You think you can just take me away like this? This is illegal! go mute now?”

The bodyguards dragged David into the hospital room and threw him to the floor. His heavy body rolled until he landed at Yosef’s feet. His heavyset body tumbling across the floor.
“Who the hell dragged me here? Show yourself, you coward!” David yelled.
He looked up, halfway to his feet, but when he saw who it was, he plopped right back down in terror. “M–Mr. Campbell? What are you doing here?”
“Then perhaps you should ask yourself that, Mr. Stone,” Yosef said, his gaze icy.
David looked utterly confused. “What do you mean?”
“Mr. Stone, I’m just wondering how you managed to raise such a ‘great‘ son?” Yosef hit the word “great” hard.
Out of the corner of his eye, David spotted Zachary on the floor. “My son! What have they done to you?”
Though furious at him for growing rebellious and talking back, David still felt for him.
“Your old injuries haven’t even healed yet. How did you end up like this again?”
Then David turned to Yosef. “Mr. Campbell, why would you do this to my son?”
“Mr. Stone, have you seen what’s been going around online?”
David was fuming with rage when he got home; checking his phone was the last thing on his mind.
“No,” he replied.
Yosef gave Hudson a nod. Hudson came up and told David the whole story.
David shot back, “My son had nothing to do with it! That bitch got exactly what she deserved.
“That leak told the truth. She’s nothing but a gold–digging slut who loves leading men on.” Just thinking about how his son ended up like this because of Skylar made his blood boil.
David didn’t hold back. Every word out of his mouth was vicious and filthy.

Yosef’s eyes went cold. He gave a small nod, and a bodyguard stepped up and dislocated David’s jaw before he could react
“Mr. Stone, Skylar is under my protection. You don’t get to talk about her like that,” Yosef warned.
David let out a terrified scream and clutched his hands together, begging.“Put his jaw back,” Yosef said. The bodyguard did as he was told.
“Mr. Campbell, L… I just lost my head in the heat of the moment. I’m sorry, please, don’t be mad…”
“David, you know what really happened back then, don’t you?”
David was already scared out of his wits. When it came down to his son or his own safety, he just threw his son under the bus.
“I know, I know! She’s innocent. My son harassed her. It’s all his fault!”
