Elianna scoffed at his back view and muttered “idiot” under her breath, pushed open the door, and stepped into the ward.
“Long time no see, Zachary,” she greeted her brother.
Zachary’s lips curled into a menacing smile. “What brings you here? Are you here to laugh at my misery?” he asked.
Elianna put on an innocent face and said, “Zachary, I’m your sister. How could I possibly do something so heartless as to kick you when you’re down?”

“If she had hit you any harder, she would have crippled you,” she said.

Zachary could feel that Skylar was much tougher than before, but she was not entirely unbeatable. ‘Now that I know her tricks, I just need to avoid them next time,’ he thought.

Although Elianna detested Zachary to the core, now was not the time for confrontation. She could not afford to create another enemy.
Elianna instantly plastered on a bright smile and said, “Zachary, you must be thirsty now. Let me get you some water.”
Elianna got up obediently, poured a glass of water, and brought it to Zachary’s lips.
Zachary took the glass and drained it in one gulp, then smirked and said, “Now that’s my good little sister.”

“Zachary, what are your plans moving forward?” Elianna asked, her tone seemingly casual but with a hint of probing.
“What the hell are you fishing for?” Zachary asked.
Elianna smiled and said, “I’ve dealt with Skylar far longer than you have. If you have any plans, you may share them with me first. I might be able faciles some assistance.”
“But I don’t like to share my plans with anyone,” he sneered. “Who knows if you’ll just turn around, spill the beans, and stab me in the back!
Zachary had no fondness for Elianna. From the very first day she returned to the Stone family, he had seen her ambition burning in her eyes.
He knew this sister was not a simple character. However, as long as her ambition did not threaten him, he could choose to ignore it.
