Skylar saw Josef and Adam chatting happily and laughing together. Her frown smoothed out, and a smile played on her lips. “What made you two so happy?” she asked.
Adam giggled behind his little hands covering his mouth, his eyes crinkling with mischief. “Mommy, this is a little secret between Daddy and me. I can’t share with you,” he said playfully.
Skylar pretended to be sad and pouted. “Really? Not even with me?” she said.
Adam did not want to see his mom sad, but for the sake of the big plan, he shook his head firmly. “No, I can’t.
“Sorry, Mom. Don’t get upset. I really can’t tell you right now,” he said, looking troubled. Then, as if struck by an idea, his face lit up. “I’ll tell you later, okay?”

Watching the mother and child being so intimate and oblivious to everything else, Josef could not help but feel a little jealous. He coughed loudly to make his presence known.
Adam, the little mischief, grinned mischievously and said, “Mommy, Daddy’s jealous. Daddy, I love you too!”
Yosef’s eyes crinkled with faint amusement. “Mm,” he responded.
Adam tugged at his mom’s sleeve and, bold as ever, teased his dad right in front of him. “Mommy, Daddy’s green with envy. He even gets jealous of me!”
Skylar could not help but chuckle. “Well, if Daddy’s green with envy, what about you? Are you the same?” she asked.
“Hmph, I’m not!” Adam protested, his little face scrunched up in defiance. “I’m big–hearted, not as petty as Daddy!”
