Chapter 257
Chapter 257
Juelz rubbed his forehead in frustration. He had no idea how to explain to her that Skylar was someone far beyond their league, not someone they could afford to offend.
“Aimz, please head to the lounge now,” Juelz directed.
Aimee was reluctant to leave. ‘I haven’t even seen that masked freak get what she deserves yet. There’s no way I’m going!‘ she thought stubbornly. She protested, “But Juelz, all I want is to…”
Juelz’s eyes darkened with intensity. He said, “Aimz, do as I say.”
It was the second time today Aimee had encountered that frightening expression on Juelz’s face. She swallowed nervously, bit her lip, and hurried away. With his mischievous sister finally gone, Juelz released a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves.
Juelz struggled to mend the situation, stammering, “I sincerely apologize about the pill. I was just overly eager, and under the circumstances at that time, your behavior did seem a bit suspicious.”
Skylar smirked. “Oh, I can’t possibly accept your apology.” She sneered, “I still remember your last apology all too well, and here you are again, finding new ways to play tricks on me. Please save your insincere act. If you’re only apologizing to ease your conscience before attempting to frame me again, then I don’t need it.”
Juelz hesitated and said, “Sue, I…”
Vicente, an astute strategist, sensed the situation between them and promptly aligned himself with Skylar. “Mr. Castillo, it appears this place just isn’t spacious enough for someone of your status. Please make your exit.”
Veins bulged at Juelz’s forehead as he clenched his fists in a fit of suppressed rage. “Mr. Poole, you don’t have the authority to make me leave.”
“He doesn’t have authority,” Yosef’s voice pierced through the crowd as he stepped forward, having observed long enough from the back. “I do. As the sponsor and organizer, I have every right to remove anyone disturbing my venue.”
Yosef established the conference for a single purpose: to find a miracle doctor who could heal his son’s illness. He chose to maintain a low profile to avoid being overwhelmed by inquiries, only occasionally appearing as a sponsor.
Juelz thought frantically, “I’m in trouble!’
Not only had he offended Sue, but he had also crossed Yosef, the feared business tycoon. He was notoriously vindictive–cross him, and one could end up dead.
He thought desperately, ‘I’m finished… and so is the Castillo family. Juelz’s vision darkened as he stumbled, nearly collapsing on his feet.
Yosef had no tolerance for Juelz’s antics, especially since he had dared to target the woman he held dear. ‘I would never dream of upsetting her, yet Juelz dares to plot against her? He must have a death wish,‘ Yosef thought coldly.
Yosef shot a sidelong look at Vicente. “Get him out of here.”
Vicente respectfully nodded and signaled for his men to escort Juelz out.
Juelz was unceremoniously escorted out, without any chance to resist, while Aimee was also torcibly removed from the VIP lounge.
As she was being pushed out, Aimee shouted at the top of her lungs, “How dare you treat me this way? Just wait–I’ll tell my father, and he’ll make your lives a nightmare!”

Aimee angrily pushed their hands away and snapped, “Hands off! I can walk by myself!” She then noticed her brother standing outside and moved closer, her voice soft and tentative. “Juelz…”
Juelz lashed out with a slap across her face. “You good–for–nothing! It is all your fault!” The blow represented all his pent–up resentment and fury, landing with brutal force.
Aimee’s delicate cheek was swollen and red. Clutching her stinging face in disbelief, tears welling in her eyes, she cried out, “You’re insane! I’m your sister!”
Overwhelmed by uncontrollable rage, Juelz lost his composure. He gripped Aimee by the throat, choking her fiercely while hurling curses. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have offended Sue, failed Dad’s mission, or drawn the wrath of Yosef. Now, the Castillo family is on the brink of utter ruin–all because of you!”
Juelz roared, “You good–for–nothing! I wish you would just go away!”
