Chapter 243
“Over there!” Aimee pointed in the direction she had just come from, her voice sharp. “Juelz, get some backup. I’m zama to teach that woman a lesson she’ll never forget–she’ll learn the hard way that messing with me has its consequences
Juelz was about to leave with Aimee when he suddenly remembered that he was still in the middle of a business engagement. He quickly turned to the group and said apologetically, “I apologize, but I have a personal matter to attend
to…”
“No problem, Mr. Castillo. Please proceed.”
“Don’t worry about us. Family is the priority. We’re always available to talk.”
Juelz gave them a brief nod, took Aimee’s arm, and stormed off.
The onlookers shook their heads in disapproval at Aimee, clearly troubled. “I wonder who she’s chosen to fight with this
time?”
“Whoever it may be, it’s none of our concern.”
“I believe Juelz is overly indulgent with his sister and struggles to discern right from wrong. Someone like him is not a trustworthy business partner.”
Little did Juelz realize that, due to recent events, some of those who once supported him as the next successor to the Castillo family had now withdrawn their backing. Juelz, accompanied by Aimee and the security detail assigned to protect their family at the event, stormed over.
Meanwhile, Skylar sat calmly on the sofa, observing everything happening around her. She noticed the siblings approaching with their entire security team in tow. Unfazed, she took a slow, deliberate sip of her juice. Looking at the newcomer, she smirked and said, “Well, well, looks like the little princess ran home to get her knights in shining armor,
huh?”
Juelz closely observed Skylar but found nothing extraordinary about her. ‘How did someone like her even qualify for a world–class conference like this?‘ he thought with disdain. ‘Maybe she just got in because she knows someone on the inside. If that’s the case, exacting revenge on her will be a piece of cake.‘
He glared at Skylar and demanded, “What’s your issue with my sister? Why did you humiliate her?”
Skylar raised an eyebrow. “What if I told you I never bullied her? Would you believe me?”
Juelz scoffed. “What’s the matter? Too afraid to admit your
mistakes?”
Skylar gave a faint smirk. “If I did it, I’d admit to it. But if I didn’t, you can pressure me all you want–I won‘ something I didn’t do.”

Juelz sneered. “Alright. Let’s see how tough you are–and how long you can keep that smart mouth of yours shut.”
Juelz waved to his entourage and commanded, “Take off her mask! How dare nobody like her act so mysteriously here? Remove her mask and strike her in the mouth! Continue hitting her until she pleads for mercy!”

The security guards lunged at her, but before they could even touch Skylar’s sleeve, she effortlessly subdued them all, one by one, the guards collapsed to the floor, groaning in pain. Their cries quickly attracted the attention of the entire venice and a curious crowd soon gathered around.
Seeing the situation spiraling out of control, Juelz decided to step in. Gritting his teeth, he demanded, “Just apologize to my sister, and we’ll consider this matter resolved today.”
“I didn’t do anything wrong–why should I apologize?” Skylar retorted, unbothered by him.
Juelz sneered and said, “Okay, you should hope I never get the chance—because if I do, you’re finished.”
Skylar sneered. “Go ahead–Just try it.”
Seeing the crowd start to gather, Juelz realized this was not the place to stay. He threw one last warning at Skylar and, without waiting for her reply, grabbed Aimee and hurried away. Aimee complained, “Juelz, I don’t want to leave! Why do we have to go? You didn’t even help me teach her a lesson yet!”
“Aimz, there are too many people here–let’s not make a scene,” Juelz gently urged. “I promise I’ll help you get even secretly, okay?”
Aimee pouted. “Juelz, what’s there to be afraid of? So what if people stare? It’s not like I’ll lose a limb or anything. After all, she’s the one at fault here. No one would dare point fingers at us,” Aimee said, her tone brimming with confidence.
Juelz let out a frustrated sigh. “It’s not that simple.”
