Skylar walked to the bedside and deftly pressed a few pressure points on Jade’s body..
Jade suddenly felt the weakness and numbness fade from her body. Testing her movements, she was relieved to find her strength had fully returned

Skylar said, “I’m taking you back to the Lambert residence to confront Freya, I expect your full cooperation.”
Jade nodded repeatedly, her voice trembling as she said, “Don’t worry. I’ll do everything I can to cooperate.”
Skylar brought Jade back to the Lambert residence, with Brada clinging to her. No matter what she did, she just couldn’t shake him off, so he ended up tagging along too.
Brada protested, “Come on, I’m the wronged party here, how could I possibly miss this?”
Skylar reluctantly agreed and let him come with her back to the Lambert residence.
Yana was in the living room, arranging flowers.
Hearing the commotion, Yana turned around and exclaimed, “Skylar, you’re back! But why did you bring so many people… Wait, isn’t that Jade?”
Yana set down the floral shears, stood up, and walked over with a frown. “Skylar, why did you bring her back here?”
Yana’s face darkened with undisguised hostility at the sight of Jade, the woman who had nearly succeeded in killing Carlos.
“Mom, I need your help with something important.” Skylar rarely ever looked this serious in front of Yana.
Yana instantly sensed something was off. “What is it?” she asked.
“Mom, I need you to call Freya and get her back here immediately. No excuses, she must return.”
“What’s going on?” Yana’s heart pounded with rising panic.
Skylar didn’t explain. She said firmly, “Just do as I say. You’ll understand everything soon enough.”
Yana called Freya.
Freya was hanging out with her friends when Yana called. She picked up casually and said, “Hey Mom, what’s up? Did you need something?”
“Freya, come home right now. There’s something we need to discuss,” Yana said.
Freya glanced at her friends, visibly conflicted. “Now? But I’m in the middle of shopping with them, it would be rude to just ditch them halfway.”
Yana’s voice was steel. “Drop what you’re doing. Come home. Now.”
Yana’s unusually stern tone set off alarm bells in Freya. She tightened her grip on the phone and asked, “Mom, what’s going on? Why do I need to come home right now?”
“Enough questions. Get home now.” Yana hung up abruptly before Freya could protest.
Freya’s face darkened, her knuckles turning white as she clutched her phone.

Freya thought to herself, “What the hell is going on?
What the hell is going on? Why is Mom suddenly calling and insisting I come home right now?
‘Has my scheme been exposed?
‘No way. I covered all my tracks, even if Skylar is that capable, she couldn’t possibly trace this back to me.
‘But if it’s not about the scheme, then what on earth could it be?‘
Freya couldn’t make heads or tails of the situation and hesitated for a long time.

The moment Freya stepped inside, her gaze locked onto Jade, who
sitting rigidly on the sofa, visibly uncomfortable.
Her legs nearly gave way, and she almost stumbled.
Freya’s heart nearly stopped. She thought, ‘What the hell is Jade doing here?
‘Brada is here too, how is he completely unharmed? And Skylar…
‘Useless. Absolutely useless!‘
Freya bit down on her lip, only letting go when the metallic taste of blood filled her mouth.
It was too late to leave now. Freya forced herself to walk over, trying to keep her composure. “Mom, Dad, Skylar, Brada, what’s going on here?”
Freya feigned ignorance, smirking as she teased, “Mom, you didn’t summon me back just to discuss Skylar’s engagement to Brada, did you?”
