Victor wasn’t sure if his family had intervened. He said he’d look into it and told Ferris not to take any action for now, just to monitor the situation.
Ferris nodded and immediately got his team scouring the internet for any news about the
incident.
All the posts and videos that had just been trending vanished completely, and even the accounts that posted them were deleted.
Ferris was baffled. “Who on earth has the kind of power to wipe out everything in one fell swoop?”
He was now waiting for Victor’s update.
Victor called his mother, cautiously probing, “Mom, have you and Dad seen what’s trending online?”
“You brat,” Yana Lambert snapped. “This scandal is everywhere. Did you think we’re blind? Of course we’ve seen it!”
Yana snapped at Victor, “What were you doing in Skylar’s room in the middle of the night?”
Victor thought to himself, ‘I’m wronged beyond belief! Skylar and I are biological siblings. What’s so wrong with us just chatting in the same room?
‘Besides, I was clearly just discussing the script with Skylar, it was purely work–related!
“Who would’ve thought that crazy woman Joanne would secretly take photos and twist the truth, trying to frame both me and Skylar?”
Yana snorted, “Can’t even protect your sister. What kind of brother are you?”
Victor didn’t argue back and meekly admitted his mistake. “I know. I was careless this time.”
“At least you understand.” Yana didn’t scold him further, after all, her son was also a victim in this matter.
“How are Skylar and Adam doing?” Yana asked about her daughter and grandson.
Victor glanced down at Adam, dozing in his arms. Across from him, Skylar sat calm and collected, completely unfazed.
“Skylar and Adam are doing fine,” Victor replied.
Carlos Lambert was on pins and needles. He gestured at Yana’s phohe, signaling that he wanted to talk to their son too.
Having said her piece, Yana handed the phone to Carlos.
As soon as Carlos picked up the phone, he immediately started scolding Victor. “You damn brat! I’ll let it slide this time, but if you let something like this happen again, you’ll see what I’ll do to you.”
Victor didn’t get angry since this whole mess had started because of him. He was the one who put his sister in danger and dragged her into all of this.
Victor replied, “Got it, Dad. It won’t happen again.”
Carlos gave a curt nod.
After hanging up with his parents, Victor texted his/agent: [A friend handled it. Don’t worry.]
The agent finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Hudson Cooper stood before Yosef and reported, “Mr. Campbell, we’ve successfully compromised all IP addresses that posted the articles and videos.*
Yosef said, “Understood. Keep monitoring. If you find any related articles or videos, take them all down immediately.”
“Understood, Mr. Campbell. You can count on me.”

Yosef tapped the desk. “Investigate the Green family and all their business partners.”
Hudson nodded and left.
It didn’t take Hudson long to uncover the information. He compiled his findings and reported them to Yosef. “Mr. Campbell, what should we do rent
Yosef lowered his gaze slightly and ordered coldly, “Terminate all business with the Green family, effective immediately. And make sure there are 196 future dealings whatsoever.
“Inform all companies collaborating with the Green family to carefully consider which partnership holds more weight, the Campbell Group or the Green family.”
Hudson immediately carried out Yosef’s orders.
Harry Green slammed his hands on the desk and sprang up. “What did you just say? The Campbell Group has terminated our contract and is blacklisting us with other firms?”
The secretary answered timidly, “Yes, sir.”
Harry paced back and forth with his hands behind his back, muttering, “Our partnership was going so well, what made them suddenly pull out?”
