After they were all gone, Skylar stood up to leave as well.

He raised his hand to hit Skylar, but Leon caught his hand and exerted a little force.
David cried out in pain, grimacing. “It hurts, it hurts! My hand is going to break!”

Leon’s grip tightened. David’s body twisted in pain as he kept wailing.
Finally realizing the severity of the situation, David began apologizing. “Skylar, it’s my fault. I was wrong! I’m sorry! Please, tell him to let go! My hand is really going to break!”
Skylar gave Leon a look. Leon released him.
David collapsed to the ground, clutching his hand, drenched in cold sweat.
Skylar looked down on him coldly. “Mr. Stone, I hope you remember this pain. Next time, don’t be so reckless. Otherwise, it won’t just hurt. Your hand will actually break.”
David lowered his head, his body trembling slightly, without saying a word.

After cursing, he clutched his swollen hand and went to the hospital.

David was furious and continued to curse Skylar all the way.
While sitting in the car on the way home, a thought struck him. He told the driver to turn around.
He couldn’t deal with Skylar, but someone else could.
The car pulled up in front of a psychiatric hospital.
David told the hospital director he wanted to take Elianna away.
The director feigned difficulty, then slowly and calmly refused. “Sorry, you can’t take away a patient who hasn’t yet recovered.”
David’s eyes widened, and his voice rose. “My daughter isn’t even sick. I know perfectly well what her condition is!”
He added, “Let her come home with me now, or I’ll sue your hospital for illegally detaining a mentally healthy person!”

Looking at her disheveled appearance and manic expression, David gasped. “Elianna, calm down.”

David tried to calm her down. “Elianna, just listen to me. If you help me with something, I promise I’ll take you home.”
She caught the word “home” and suddenly quieted down. She glanced at the staff standing nearby. “You, go outside. I want to speak to my dad alone.”
The staff member replied, “The director ordered that no patient is allowed to be alone with family.”
Elianna tugged at her father’s sleeve and urged, “Dad, give her money.”
The staff member shook her head. “I don’t want money.”

Yosef sighed when he heard the busy tone. He finally had a chance to call her, yet the conversation ended so fast.
The next morning, when Skylar left for work, she was blocked at the door by a crowd.
