Skylar flipped through the contract documents and nodded in approval. “Well done.”
She added, “Since David wants to be chairman so badly, let him be a nominal one. I want him to watch with his own eyes as the company he built disappears, and as I step on its ruins to build my own empire.”
Leon chuckled. “He’s definitely going to lose his mind.”
Skylar set the documents down. “In a few days, I’ll attend the Stone Group’s shareholder meeting with you.”
Leon nodded.
Feeling elated after solving the company’s immediate crisis, David had a few drinks and stumbled home drunk.
Rebecca noticed his smile and greeted him with a grin. “Honey, did something good happen today?”

David was dumbfounded. “How is that possible?”

Seething with rage, David ripped the document to pieces. “This is fake! You must have forged it!”
Skylar chuckled. “These are legal documents. We don’t have the ability or the need to forge them. Tear up as many as you want. It won’t change the

David’s face turned livid. He gritted his teeth and glared at her with rage burning in his eyes.
