“What’s up?” Yosef asked.
“Mr. Campbell, ‘Synax‘, the one who hacked our SkyNet system last time, is online again. I’m worried she might make another move, so I wanted to report it.”
Ever since the SkyNet breach, Yosef had created a tracking system to monitor “Synax.”
The system was programmed to alert them the moment she came online again.
Yosef had given strict orders to report any activity from “Synax” immediately.
Yosef frowned slightly, his gaze darkening as he stared at Skylar.

“Ignore it. She won’t come after us,” Yosef said calmly.
Since he said to let it go, Hudson shut down the tracking system and led his team to rush toward the amusement park.
Yana and Carlos had already received the news. Unable to sit still at home, they insisted on going to the amusement park themselves.

Skylar typed again, pulling up all footage involving that man.
She and Yosef watched intently, not missing a single detail.
After reviewing all the clips, they saw that the man had escaped with Adam before the park was fully locked down.
Skylar took a deep breath. “Have you offended anyone recently?”
She immediately ruled out human traffickers. They wouldn’t go to such great lengths just to abduct one child.
The most plausible theory was that a business rival had taken Adam to use as leverage against Yosef.
Yosef shook his head. “They wouldn’t dare.”
Someone had tried to kidnap Adam. But Yosef had discovered it in time and captured the conspirators before they could act. He had brutally dealt with
them.
Those people had begged to be handed over to the police. Yosef had left them barely alive before doing so.
That story had spread quietly through the business world. Since then, no one had dared to touch Adam.
Yosef also significantly tightened Adam’s security since then.
This time was different. It was a public amusement park, crowded, and inconvenient for bodyguards to follow. Since Yosef was there personally, he hadn’t brought extra protection.
He hadn’t expected that things would still go wrong.
If it wasn’t a business rival, then the most likely suspect was Elianna. She was the only person recently at odds with both of them.
“Do you have anyone in rnind?” Yosef asked. He saw that Skylar was deep in thought. He knew what she was thinking.
“Elianna,” she answered immediately.
“You think so too?” Yosef asked.
Yosef nodded. “Yeah. Elianna must be in a highly unstable mental state right now. Otherwise, she wouldn’t take such a big risk to abduct Adam.”
She added, “if she took him, she must want something from us. Which means she won’t hurt him for now. We must act like we don’t know anything, and pretend to still be anxiously looking for Adam. That way, she’ll let her guard down.”

Yosef understood. “Put on a show for her. Show her how much Adam means to us.”
He continued, “The more we seem to care, the less likely she is to harm him. If we ease her paranoia, she’ll think our full focus is on the search. We can assign people to tail her. That way, we’ll have a chance to locate Adam.”
Skylar nodded. “Then we’ll go with your plan.”

Skylar gestured for him to come closer.
He leaned in, and she whispered her plan in his ear.

Just as they finished talking, the Lambert family arrived.
Yana rushed over, out of breath, grabbing Skylar’s hand. “Adam? Still no news?”
Skylar let out a weary sigh. “Not yet.”
Yana nearly lost her balance. Her eyes were wet. “We just got him back… How could this happen?”
Skylar looked visibly shaken. Seeing her like that, Freya was overflowing with joy
