That single icy punctuation confirmed it was indeed Yosef.

Yosef put his phone away.
Just then, a nurse brought the medical report. It showed that Adam was in good health and ready to be discharged.
Skylar took Adam back to the Lambert family residence. On the way, she debated whether to tell her parents the truth.
If she told them Adam was her biological son, they would definitely ask about her and Yosef.
She wasn’t sure if she could dig up those painful memories from five years ago.

Adam’s palms were sweaty, and he looked around anxiously.
Skylar noticed his damp hands and looked down. “Adam, are you scared?”
“Just a little nervous,” Adam nodded. “Mom, will Grandma and Grandpa hate me?”
Skylar was puzzled. “Why would you think that?”
Adam shared his worries.
“They like you very much. They won’t hate you.” She patted his head gently. “And besides, you’ve got me.”
Adam nodded.
He lifted his head and sat up straighter. “Let’s go,,Mommy.”
The two walked into the living room and approached the sofa.
Yana frowned slightly but looked up gently at Skylar. “Sweetheart, you said your had something important to say. What is it?”
Skylar got straight to the point. “Dad, Mom, Blake, Freya. Adam is my biological child.”

Freya started to doubt Elianna.

Yana was confused. “Sweetheart, what’s going on? Isn’t he Yosef’s kid? You and Yosef…”
Skylar sat down with Adam. “Mom, I’ll explain everything slowly.”
She told them the whole story, including her past with Yosef and Elianna, how she lost her child, and how she got him back.
Carlos slapped the table and stood up. “Outrageous! That brat actually treated you like that? I’ll kill him!”
Yana grabbed him. “Calm down. You’re not young anymore. Do you really think you can beat someone that age?”
She added, “Don’t get yourself worked up. Our daughter just got you treated, and you’re gonna give yourself another heart attack?”
Carlos said, “But when I hear how he bullied our girl, I can’t help but get angry!”
“Sit down,” Yana said coolly. Carlos immediately complied, sitting down without a word.
She felt heartache for her daughter. With a sigh, she said, “Sweetheart, it’s our fault for not finding you and the baby sooner.”
If they had found Skylar and her child earlier, she wouldn’t have had to suffer so much.
