Adam looked all gloomy, which made Skylar laugh. She pinched his chubby cheeks. “Eat up before it gets cold.”
Adam had to set aside his worries and eat obediently.
After the meal, Adam went through another check–up. Everything had to be confirmed safe before he could be discharged.
They still needed to stay at the hospital for a while, waiting for the results.
At Adam’s request, Skylar held him in bed and watched cartoons with him.
Yosef sat on a nearby couch, working on his laptop.
Skylar watched the cartoon while thinking about what she could make or give Adam.
She had finally found her precious child, and all she could think of was how to make it up to him.
At the Campbell family’s household, Adam had everything he wanted, thanks to Yosef.

Skylar shook her head. “I’m fine.”
“Mommy’s head hurts. She was frowning just now. Daddy, hurry and massage her head!” Adam raised his chubby hand and complained, “My hand is too small, and I don’t have enough strength. Only you can do it!”
Skylar didn’t want Yosef to touch her and quickly declined, “No need. I’ll do it myself. I’ll just use some acupuncture.”
