Chapter 135
The two of them stared each other down in silence, neither backing down.
Eventually, it was Stephen who broke eye contact. “Since you’ve made up your mind, I won’t interfere anymore.”
Yosef glanced at his watch. “If you’re done, I’ll be leaving.”
He rarely came home, and Stephen had wanted to play a game of chess with him. But now, that was clearly impossible.
Watching Yosef walk out the front door, Stephen sighed deeply.
Yosef headed straight for the hospital.
He picked up the paternity test results from Fabio and flipped them open gently.
It was the test between him and Adam. Under the results column, it said, “99.99% match.” It was confirmed that they were biological father and son.
He turned to the next page, eyes narrowing slightly, and sneered. “I really underestimated her.”
The report showed that Elianna and Adam were not biologically related.
She had deceived him for so long.
Now, he was increasingly suspicious that Elianna was not the woman who saved him back then.
Yosef handed the report to Hudson behind him. “Keep it safe.”
Hudson took the file and tucked it into the briefcase.
Yosef leaned back in the car, propping his head on his hand with his eyes closed, deep in thought.
He wondered, ‘If Adam is not Elianna’s child, where did she get him?‘
He thought of that woman, but didn’t dare to be certain.
‘Looks like I’ll need to arrange another paternity test,‘ Yosef thought.
He pushed away his thoughts and opened his eyes, locking eyes with Hudson.
Hudson reported, “Mr. Campbell, we have an emergency situation!”
Meanwhile, Skylar was working when Adam came running over with a tablet. He asked, “Mommy, is Daddy really going to marry that bad woman?”
Skylar pulled him onto her lap and took the tablet.
The first thing she saw was Yosef’s name. It was bolded, enlarged, and highlighted.
She skimmed through the article.
It said Yosef’s fiancée, Elianna, was the Campbell Group’s little prince’s mother. For various reasons, the identity of the child’s biological mother hadn’t been disclosed.
But according to insiders, good news would soon be announced.
Skylar said softly, “I’m not sure either. If you really want to know, you’ll have to ask your dad yourself.”
Adam pouted and, clearly unhappy, tapped his smartwatch to call his dad.

Chapter 135
He asked, “Daddy, are you really going to marry that bad lady?”
Yosef was skimming through online rumors while monitoring the stock price fluctuations.
He replied indifferently, “Yes.”
Adam burst into tears, sobbing. “I don’t want her. I want Mommy!”
Just thinking about having to live with that evil woman made him cry harder. She might mistreat him.
Yosef looked at Adam and said gently, “Adam, you’re a boy. Don’t cry all the e
Adam sobbed. “Daddy, please don’t marry her, okay?”
Yosef said, “Put your mom on the phone.”
Adam took off the smartwatch and handed it to his mother, curling up in her
arms and crying sadly.
Skylar gently patted him to comfort him, “Don’t cry. If you cry too hard, you might get sick ag

Not wanting to worry his mom, Adam tried to control his emotions, but he couldn’t stop the tears from falling.
“You’re really going to marry her?” Skylar asked.
Yosef didn’t answer her question. He just softened his voice. “Please help
me take care of Adam.”
Skylar didn’t know what he was planning, but whatever it was, it had nothing to do with her. She responded coolly.

Yosef hung up the call. “Are we certain it was Aaron who spread the news?”
Hudson replied, “Yes. After he left the old mansion, he met with Ms. Stone. Looks like the two of them reached some kind of agreement.”
