His wife wailed. “My poor child! He was taken away so young, while the murderer gets to live in glory! Is there no justice in this world? Just because she has money, does that mean she can do whatever she wants?”
Bystanders began recording videos, compiling the family’s statements, and uploading them online.
The scandal spread like wildfire.
Some of Elianna’s fans kept defending her, insisting she wasn’t that kind of person and trying to explain things away.
But many others turned their backs on her, furious and disillusioned.
[How was I ever blind enough to stan someone like her?]
[I want to slap my past self for being so naive.]
[That woman was my idol. How embarrassing. I’ll never live that down.]
[I can’t even admit I used to like her. People would laugh at me.]
Outrage built up quickly.
“The Stone family has money and power, so they make someone else take the fall. Disgusting.”
“I thought her recent scandals were just some smear campaign, but it turns out she really is this evil.”
“How is someone like her even allowed to stay in showbiz?”
“Someone! Call the cops! She needs to be in prison, not on magazine covers.”
Eventually, the victim’s family did just that. They called the police. But when officers arrived at the agency, Elianna was nowhere to be found.
Elianna had been feeling low from the recent online backlash and had taken some time off to party. She’d gone clubbing and then crashed in a hotel above the bar.
That was where the police found and arrested her.
Still hungover, she was confused and groggy as they brought her to the station for questioning
Once Elianna understood why she was there, she tried to stay calm. “Officer, it was my sister driving my car that day, not me. She’s the one who hit that person, not me!”
She continued, “And besides, it’s been five years. Why are the victims only now saying the wrong person was punished?”
Trying to play the victim, she added, “I think someone is trying to frame me, probably Skylar. We’ve been fighting lately. Maybe she wants revenge.”
Her tone became tearful. “Please, officers! You have to investigate thoroughly.”
The police, expressionless, pulled out the evidence provided by the victim’s family and placed it on the table. “We already have more than enough proof.”
Elianna’s sobs came to an abrupt halt as her eyes locked onto the file on the table. “Five years have passed. How could there still be any so–called evidence?” she blurted out in disbelief.
She added, “Could this be evidence they faked together just to frame me?”

Her sheer obstinacy made the officer shake his head in frustration. “Just take a look at this first before you say anything else,” the officer said, his tone
calm but firm.
Elianna picked up the file, her pupils trembling as she scanned its contents.
She had made a deal with that man. He had promised never to reveal the truth. Yet, he showed up.
Elianna thought in shock, ‘How could he possibly be here? Unless Skylar tracked him down and dragged him here.’
Elianna seethed inwardly, ‘Skylar! That bitch! She’s determined to ruin me!‘
Then, the officer said, “Nothing more to say? Then sign and confess.”
Still resisting, Elianna cried out, “No, it’s not true! I’m being framed! I didn’t kill anyone!”
She demanded to call her lawyer. When the lawyer arrived, she pleaded with him to find a way to get her out.
