Chapter 125
After Skylar left, Mona immediately brought in a doctor to check on Elianna.
After examining her, the doctor found nothing unusual. “The patient is fine. All indicators are normal,” he said.
Mona didn’t believe it. “Then why won’t she wake up?”
The doctor replied, “She might just be exhausted and fall asleep.”
Still skeptical, Mona arranged for several other doctors to examine Elianna, but they all gave the same response. She could only half–believe it and stayed by Elianna’s side.
While Elianna was unconscious, Mona went to the set to film and began deliberately slacking off, causing repeated NGS.
One of the scenes required her co–star to stand in the rain, and due to her repeated mistakes, the actor was left in the cold for so long that their lips turned purple. The footage leaked online.
Combined with the recent incident of her fans causing chaos and nearly injuring someone, the internet exploded with outrage.
Even the Stone Group was dragged into the mess, and Elianna’s parents, David and Rebecca, weren’t spared either.
At home, David flew into a rage. “Look at your precious daughter, causing trouble and even dragging her parents into it!”
He shouted, “She’s got the nerve to turn off her phone and disappear like nothing happened!”
Rebecca timidly raised her eyes. “Elianna is probably busy with work. She didn’t mean to avoid the calls…”
David snorted and snapped at Rebecca, “Just more excuses. All you do is defend her. Go get your daughter back. If you can’t, then don’t bother coming back yourself!”
Rebecca was too timid to fight back. She shrank her neck and nodded. “I understand.”
At the hospital, Mopa juggled taking care of Elianna while also working to suppress the negative news about her online.
She spent a hefty sum to buy explosive gossip from paparazzi to divert attention, managing to push down Elianna’s scandal just a little.
On the third day, Elianna suddenly opened her eyes and sat up straight.
Mona was startled. “Elianna, you’re finally awake!”
Elianna fumed. “Where is that bitch Skylar?”
Mona replied, “She’s probably on set right now.”
Elianna flung off the covers and started putting on her shoes, wanting to confront Skylar.
But as soon as she stood up, her legs gave out from hunger and prolonged rest. She collapsed to the floor.
“Elianna, are you okay?” Mona rushed to help her up, but was slapped and shoved away.
Mona moved to help Elianna up, only to be slapped hard across the face and shoved away. The sudden blow sent Mona staggering, and she fell to the ground.
Elianna scolded, “You useless piece of trash!”
Gritting her teeth, Mona stood up again and helped her back into bed.

Chapter 125
Elianna said coldly, “What happened these past few days?”
Despite her frustration, Mona maintained her professionalism and recounted everything that had happened.
Elianna scowled. “It had to be Skylar who leaked that footage. She wants to ruin me! if I go down, she’s not getting away ether.
Mona quickly tried to calm Elianna, afraid she’d do something reckless again. “Elianna, calm down. It’s not as bad as you think.”
“You were supposed to fix this! Why didn’t you handle it?” Elianna vented all her anger on Mona, throwing things at her. Mona finally snapped. “Elianna, if you keep this up, I won’t help you anymore. I’ll just quit. And if you try to go after me,‘ expose at your day away
It was the first time Mona had stood up to Elianna like this. Elianna was stunned.
Her face darkened. “Mona, are you crazy?”
