Chapter 123
Elianna’s fans at the filming set were extremely dissatisfied with Victor. They guarded every exit of the production site, and the moment they saw him they started throwing things at him.
Some even tried to splash him with sulfuric acid. Fortunately, bodyguards were around to protect him, so those people didn’t succeed.
Skylar had some of the stronger male crew members block the fans from escaping and immediately called the police.
Attacking someone with sulfuric acid was a serlous offense. The police caught the culprits on the spot and took them all to the station..
What Elianna’s fans did at the set quickly made its way online, and Victor’s fans were furious.
They flooded all of Elianna’s social media accounts, demanding an apology.
When fans acted out, the idol had to take the blame. After all, she failed to manage her fanbase.
Elianna was annoyed by what she saw online. Irritated, she lashed out at Mona, her agent, accusing her of being completely useless for not resolving ti issue and letting those fans cause trouble right in front of her.
After scolding Mona, she urged her to fix it immediately.
Mona was at her wits‘ end. She had just stepped away, and Elianna had already stirred up a mess. Before she could react, the fans had gone wild at the
set.
Mona felt cursed. If only she hadn’t been so blinded back then, thinking she was hitching a ride on a golden ticket. It turned out she’d grabbed onto a
troublemaker.
After silently ranting to herself, Mona sighed and said, “This will need your cooperation. If you don’t help m
re’s nothing I can do.”
Caden had good acting skills and was handsome. Although he was a bit aloof, he still had a huge fan base.
He was also a senior in the industry and an award–winning actor. Elianna was just a traffic starlet. She couldn’t compare to him.
And yet her fans didn’t blame Caden’s fans. Instead, they went after the main actor himself with sulfuric acid.
That really enraged Caden’s supporters. A generic apology statement wouldn’t even begin to calm them down.
At this point, Elianna had no choice but to come forward.
She frowned impatiently. “I’ll try to cooperate. Just hurry up and take care of this mess.”
Mona arranged for a makeup artist to come in and give her a “sickly” look. Her face was made ghostly pale, like she could die at any second.
Just as Mona was about to have Elianna record an apology video, a knock at the door interrupted them.
Elianna glanced at her and quickly ducked under the blanket, closing her eyes and pretending to be sick, and resting.
Mona tucked her in before speaking to the person at the door. “Come in.”
Skylar walked in carrying a fruit basket, “I heard Ms. Stone was sick, so I brought some fruit over to visit.”
Mona gave a polite smile and took the fruit basket from her phone. “Sapphire, you’re too kind, it’s been a rough few days. As you can see, Elianna really… isn’t feeling well.”
She continued, “And I’ve been tied up with other matters, unable to manage the fans. We’ve caused you a lot of trouble. I’m really sorry.
Skylar chuckled. “Ms. Stone’s illness must be quite serious. She can’t even get up and check her phone?”

Mona knew she didn’t believe a word of it and was testing her, but she forced herself to stay calm. “Yes, Elianna’s always been healthy. We don’t know what happened this time. Just a little rain, and now she’s gravely ill.”
