Chapter 114
Skylar Lambert stepped out of the elevator and headed towards her office when she overheard some gossip.
“Oh my god, doesn’t he have a fiancée? How can he still be messing around?”
Skylar stopped in her tracks.
“Sigh, men are all the same, aren’t they? You think a guy like that is a good man? No way. The richer they are, the more likely they are to cheat.”
“What are you two talking about?” Skylar asked.
The two female employees, startled by their boss’s voice, jumped.
“Ms. Lambert,” they said in unison.
“What were you just discussing?” Skylar asked, her delicate brows furrowed.
“We’re sorry, Ms. Lambert. We shouldn’t have been gossiping during work hours.”
They were terrified, apologizing profusely and promising never to chat idly during work again.
Skylar couldn’t get a straight answer out of them, and their repeated apologies were grating on her nerves.
She rubbed her temples and waved a hand dismissively. “Alright, that’s enough. Get back to work.”
Back in her office, Skylar opened her phone and saw she’d been photographed leaving the hotel earlier.
What gave her an even bigger headache was that she was trending online with Yosef.
[Mr.Campbell carrying mystery woman into hotel late night]
She clicked on the article. It started with two comparison photos.
One photo, taken at night, showed Yosef carrying her into the hotel. The other, from the daytime, was a split image of her and Yosef leaving the hotel separately.
Skylar immediately opened her laptop, wrote a script, and deleted all reports of the scandal involving her and Yosef.
She then tracked down the person who posted it and bought the photos off them.
Although she acted quickly, a significant number of netizens had already seen the photos and reports.
Elianna saw it too. She was furious, completely losing her cool.
She stormed straight into Phidon.
“Excuse me, miss, do you have an appointment?” the receptionist asked, trying to block her from reaching the elevators.
Elianna slapped her across the face. “Who do you think you are?” she snarled. “Get out of my way!”
The receptionist, clutching her cheek and fighting back tears, loudly called for security. “Security! Get this woman out of here! She’s causing a scene!”
When security guards approached to grab Elianna, she threw her purse at them, dodging left and right to avoid being caught.
Passing employees were drawn by the cornmotion, some pulling out their phones to film her.

Chapter 114
Skylar, quickly informed, told Sophie Cook to bring Elianna up and to warn the employees to keep their mouths shut or lose their jobs.
The moment Elianna entered Skylar’s office, she lunged, hand raised to strike.
Skylar caught her wrist and flung it away. “Are you out of your mind?”
“I am crazy! You drove me crazy!” Elianna shrieked. “Why are you messing around with Yosef again?”
The aggressive movement had caused Skylar’s collar to shift, revealing a hickey.
Elianna was absolutely livid.
She reached to rip Skylar’s clothes open, wanting to see if there were more marks.
Skylar grabbed her hands, her eyes flashing with anger. “What do you think you’re doing?”
Elianna sneered. “What’s that on your neck?
“You just can’t stand me, can you? So you have to take everything that’s mine to feel good about yourself, is that it?
“You just can’t stand me, can you? So you have to take everything that’s mine to feel good about yourself, is that it?”
Skylar crossed her arms, her face a mask of indifference. “Elianna, let’s get a few things straight.
“As long as Yosef and I aren’t divorced, I am his legal wife. Whatever I do with him is perfectly legitimate.
“You, on the other hand, what right do you have to question me?”
Skylar pushed Elianna’s hands away and gripped her chin. “As his fiancée? A title that isn’t even properly yours?
“Don’t forget, he announced you as his fiancée, but you two never had an engagement ceremony.
“And you had his child under these circumstances. Elianna, you’re the one who’s acting cheap.”
Elianna roared in anger, “Bitch! Shut up! Shut up!”
She glared at Skylar, then after a long moment, burst into laughter. “You think you’re any better?”
Her face was contorted, tears streaming down as she laughed. “You married him, but who knows? Nobody knows you’re his wife! But everyone knows
I’m his fiancée!
“In the public’s eyes, you’re the one who can’t be seen in daylight, Skylar Lambert! You’re the homewrecker!”
Her eyes, full of murderous intent, bored into Skylar.
Skylar watched the unhinged Elianna and, right in front of her, dialed the number for a psychiatric hospital.
“I have a psychiatric patient here. Could you send someone to pick her up?”
Elianna lunged, snatched the phone, and smashed it on the floor. “Skylar, go to hell!”
She screamed, pulling a small knife from her bag and lunging at Skylar.
Skylar grabbed Elianna’s wrist, kicked the knife from her hand, then kicked her shin, and twisted her arm behind her back, immobilizing her.
“Skylar Lambert, let me go, you bitch!” Elianna shrieked. “You think you can take what’s mine? Dream on!
“I won’t let you win! Yosef is mine, Adam is mine, and the position of Mrs. Campbell of Campbell Group will only ever be mine!”

Chapter 114
The screaming gave Skylar a headache. She quickly pressed a few pressure points on Elianna’s body.
Elianna’s eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
She messaged Yosef, telling him to come and get Elianna.
When Yosef arrived, he saw Elianna on the floor and Skylar sipping coffee on the sofa.
He had Hudson take Elianna away.
“Did you take care of this morning’s mess?” Yosef asked. The online news had vanished by the time he saw it.
“Who else?” Skylar retorted. “If I waited for Mr. Campbell to handle it, it would’ve been way too late.”
Yosef’s lips pressed into a thin line. “It’s my fault.”
Skylar scoffed. “Save it. Don’t waste my time with useless words. Just control your woman and make sure she doesn’t bother me again.”
Yosef said, “I’ll handle Elianna. She won’t disturb you again.”
“Is that all, Mr. Campbell? If so, you can leave.” Skylar was fuming at the sight of him, her tone harsh.
Yosef knew she didn’t want him there. He got up to leave, then paused. “When can we find some time to talk properly?”
“I have time to discuss the divorce. For anything else, I’m busy,” Skylar replied coldly.
