Chapter 3: You Like Her? Then I’ll Give Her to You
Noticing their gazes, Ella lowered her head and quickly fled.
One lady, seeing Ella’s attire clearly, firmly denied it.
“Ella? No way! You know how stunning her face and figure are, right? That woman was so thin, she was just skin and bones. Was that really her? Are you joking?”
Ella had already reached the second floor, unaware she had become their topic of conversation.
Following her memories, she found her former room and was about to push open the door.
The conversation inside made her feel like she had fallen into an icy abyss.
“Liam, I heard Ella got out of prison. Is it true?”
“Ella? The one who always chased after Liam? When did she go to prison? What did she do?”
To save face, the Rossis had blocked the news of Ella’s imprisonment, telling everyone she had gone abroad to study.
Liam cast Grant Reed a cold glance.
Grant immediately realized his mistake. Slapping his forehead, he forced a smile. “Oops, I meant she
came back to the country, Ella came back.”
One of the rich second–generation men, holding a cigarette, chuckled. “If I’m not mistaken, you two were engaged three years ago, right? Liam, when are you holding the wedding banquet?”
Ella held her breath, wanting to hear Liam’s answer.
‘Engagement?” Liam’s indifferent voice rang out, “Who would marry a dirty woman?”
Bitterness welled up in Ella’s heart. She bit her lower lip until she tasted blood, suppressing the urge o push open the door.
Chapter 3: You Like Her? Then I’ll Give Her to You
Everyone knew she liked Liam. But to him, was she just something to be tossed away on a whim?
If he didn’t love her, fine. But why humiliate her like this?
The rich man laughed, “But Ella’s pretty, you know? That face, that body–how many men envy what she has? Keeping her at home as a trophy wife would be pleasing to the eyes too.”
Annoyed, Liam scoffed, “You like her? Then I’ll give her to you.”
Outside, Ella froze, her heart aching as if cut by a knife.
When she was 14 and found by the Rossis, Natalie had led a group of rich kids to bully her.
Locked in a bathroom, drenched in ice water.
魚
It was Liam who kicked open the stall door and rescued her, shivering.
From then on, Liam became the first light in her life. She had chased after him for seven years.
But now, that light had gone out.
In Liam’s eyes, she was just something disposable.
Ella wiped away her tears, walked to the window, and dialed an old number she hadn’t called in a
while.
Before anyone noticed her, she wanted to leave with dignity.
The phone rang twice. Before the other end could pick up, someone called out to her from behind.
“Ella?”
Ella immediately turned around. It was the last person she wanted to see right now.
Natalie.
Dressed in a luxurious gown, holding champagne, surrounded by a bevy of rich young ladies, Natalie approached.

Ella wanted to escape but it was too late.
Embarrassed, she covered the torn hole on her arm, standing there stiffly, enduring everyone’s scrutiny.
The group began whispering.
“My god, is that Ella? What happened to her? She’s as thin as a skeleton.”
“I can’t go any closer. I feel a strange smell coming from her, ugh.”
“How long has it been since she bathed? How can a girl be so unclean?”

“What is she wearing? A rag? Coming to her sister’s birthday party dressed like that, is she trying to
ruin it?”
Natalie laughed, a hint of smugness flashing in her eyes.
“Ella! I missed you so much!” She stepped forward, hugging Ella dramatically and kissing her cheek.
If Ella hadn’t clearly heard Natalie whisper in her ear, “You dare come back, you b*tch? Want me to toss you back in prison today?“, she might have been misled by Natalie’s fake affection.
Huge anger welled up inside her. She clenched her fists, wanting to fight Natalie regardless of the
consequences.
But in the next second, someone pulled Natalie away.
It was Lydia Rossi, her biological mother.
Lydia pulled Natalie behind her, looking at Ella warily. “When did you get out?” she asked in a low
voice.
Seeing her mother’s disgusted gaze, Ella’s heart sank to the bottom.
How ridiculous. Lydia remembered Natalie’s birthday but forgot her own daughter was being released from prison today.
“Why are you wearing these clothes?” Lydia frowned, looking Ella up and down, scolding softly, “If
the media sees, how embarrassing for our family. Go change, don’t ruin everyone’s mood.”
Lydia was about to push Ella away when an abrupt voice interrupted.
“Miss, you can’t drink that, it’s been spiked!”
Everyone looked at Natalie. She raised her glass in surprise. “Huh? Spiked with what?”
The maid glanced at Ella. “I just saw Ella go to the kitchen and put something in your drink. It must have been some kind of drug!”
