Lost in my thoughts, I didn’t realize where I was going and which I looked up, I was in an unfamiliar hallway. Even though I got a tour yesterday, this place wasn’t on tour last night, or maybe it was, and I was too sleepy to notice. I only pald attention to big and Important things since all the hallways looked the same. There wasn’t a person in sight; I was starting to get scared and ran in the direction I came from, looking back from time to time, making sure a witch or some monster wasn’t following. Tears slowly came to my eyes when I hit a deal end, and I whimpered.
“Mommy! Daddy! Phoenix! III yelled out every name that care to mind but got no replies.
I was scared of being left alone! Not wanting to move anymore, sat on the ground, put my head on my kness and cried.
I wanted II! I wanted my monummy! I wanted daddy!
I was just about to call out for someone again when I heard loud footsteps; it was like someone was running this way. My heart beated faster. It could’ve been my family, but I didn’t think it was because they would’ve called my name. Not wanting to look at the monster’s face, I clutched my knees and shoved my face back in them and whimpered. The footsteps got louder and louder; they were coming in my direction. The moment the footsteps were gone, I knew the monster was standing in front of me. I whimpered and cried out when I felt touch my shoulder.
“No, no, don’t hurt me!” I whimpered.
Kiara Kiara! Calm down, sweetheart, it’s just us.” I heard a voice say.
I knew that voice; opening my
ning my eyes and pulling my face out of my knees, I came face to face with prince Kayden and prince Jayden. Without a second thought in mind, I jumped into prince Kayden’s arms. As he held me and prince Jayden petted my head, hushing me.
“I thought a witch or monster was coming to get me. I got lost and couldn’t find a way out. I don’t like your castle anymore. Cinderella and Elsa’s were much more safer.” I whimpered.
I heard the prince’s chuckle, which made me mad. I let go of prince Kayden, stood up, and folded my arms around my chest. They were both still smiling at me as they sat on their knees, so we were the same height.
“Don’t laugh! It could’ve been real! What if someone kidnapped me or ate me.” I said.
Kiki. We would never let anyone hurt you or even let you be scared.” Said, prince Kayden
“Don’t worry, Kiki.
I looked at them! My eyes narrowed. I don’t know; they were just laughing at me. They must think I’m too much of a kid. The princes seeing my doubtful expression chuckled and then did something that had my mouth drop open like toms. They held out their pinkies to make pinkie promises.
“See, little one, we’re serious. As kings, we never break a promise when we make one. Said, prince Jayden
All my anger was gone as I gave them big smiles. I squealed and immediately wrapped both my pinkies around their big

“Be careful where you roam, Klara. The palace is huge, and some places are restricted like the one you were in. You could’ve gotten In big trouble we hadn’t felt…um, if we hadn’t heard you.” Said, Prince Jayden
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to go there. I was just thinking about something, and I lost my way when I realized I was already lost and couldn’t find a way out.” I said, blushing.
“What were you lost in thought about.” Asked prince Kayden
I could see my room’s door as we slowly made our way to it; we stood in front of it; the princes let go of my hands, and 1 turned to them and smiled before I said.
“How to keep II here with me,” I said with a smile.
But the moment I did, Prince Kayden and Jayden’s smiles were gone and replaced with those scary faces mommy made when she found out I fed my broccoli to Max’s pet dogs.
