Chapter 24
Chapter Sixteen: Castle Tour Part Two
Kiara, at age nine
Klara POV:
I kept asking prince Kayden and prince Jayden where they wereaking me, but they kept saying it was a surprise and I had to be patient. I even tried giving them my puppy eyes, but they only chuckled and ruffled my hair. Why weren’t the puppy eyes working? They always worked! I would need to practice in the mirror soon; otherwise, how was I supposed to convince everyone at home when I wanted something? (5)
On the way to the surprise place, the princes showed me where he beta, gamma, and alpha quarters were. The east end and west end of the castles also, where all the visiting pack officials were staying because of tomorrow’s ceremony. They even showed me where their rooms were but didn’t take me Inilde. I really wanted to see what their rooms looked like; only then could I give them suggestions on how all the Disney princes and princesses were different. Even though I was team Disney castles before coming here, I was secretly on the prince’s side now for the best castle. But I was not going tell them that, girl code, I had to stay loyal to all my favourite princesses! But when I go to Disney, I’ll tell them how to improve their castles. I was just sad I couldn’t bring them to see the wolf kingdom. That would give them a better idea about what I was talking about! But humans could only know of our existence if one was mated to a wolf. Besides, telling a human we exist would get you some severe punishment from the king and queen, and I didn’t want that. The king and queen had just offered me the scholar’s scholarship, and I also made three new friends. I didn’t want to lose either of these things. Oh, and I didn’t want to be upset if I got in trouble. We always had each other’s back whenever we were up to no good and would always end up crying if either of us got in trouble! So a big no–no about bringing the princesses to see the castle.
After a lot of twisting and turning, prince Kayden and prince Jayden finally stopped in front of a pair of massive brown doors.
“You ready for the surprise Kiara.” Said Prince Jayden.
I nodded, jumping up and down. Finally!
“Yes, yes, please hurry up.” I squeaked.
The brothers opened the door that had me literally fall on my tussie. I thought the garage of cars was pretty but what I saw in front of me was heaven, my safe haven. In front of me was a library almost as big as the the common living room back in my pack. It had shelves from the celling to the floor, and books upon books sat everywhere. Walking in, the princes showed me around, then took me to a pair of double doors on the side. Opening it, I saw a few desks and a giant whiteboard in the front. Why was there a classroom in here? Before I could ask the twin princes, Kayden spoke up.
“This is where your
your classes will be held. You and the other scholarship students.” He said.
The moment he said that I squeaked and mentally chose the desk I would sit in from Monday onwards: it would be right in the front! I couldn’t help but gawk at the achievements and pictures posted on the past students, promising myself T would be the best of them all. When I was done going through the soft board displays and the books that were placed on each desk, I turned to the princes and smiled.
“Thank you for showing me this! But there aren’t any secret passages here.” I said, pouting that they didn’t show me anything cool like that but not going to lie, I found the library pretty cool as well. I would always be here!
“Patience, little wolf. All in good time.” Said, prince Jayden

So that meant there was a secret place they were going to show me. I was sure my already excitement–filled eyes must have upped a notch as I nodded eagerly. Gesturing me to follow them, they led me to the corner of the library, where I saw a spiral irtin staircase.
“Up you go, little wolf.” Said, prince Kayden
Nodding, I followed him and prince Jayden upstairs. Just like downstairs, there were shelves everywhere. However, there was one shelf that was smaller than the rest. I saw the twins approached it and plucked a book out; I didn’t know which one since they covered my view. Just like in the movies, the bookshelf plopped open, and a lit hallway could be seen.
