My parents nodded in understanding.
I was broken out of the admiration bubble of my little mate when I heard her scream a no, my head shooting directly in the direction along with Jayden’s head to see if she was okay. Thankfully she was; it seemed like all of them disagreed on something. My father called Emily, Rex’s babysitter, to call the kids here so they could tell our little mate the amazing news. Emily bowed and went to leave but not before looking at Kayden und me seductively. I blatantly ignored her, and so did Jayden. Emily had been one of Jayden’s bed warmers; I doubt mom and dad knew otherwise she wouldn’t be let close
to Rex.
After our little mate’s word vomit was done and we all told her the good news, we hadn’t expected her to jump at us, hugging our legs. Even though we were calm on the outside, the sparks that were going through our body from just her touch was making it hard to concentrate. Everything in us telling us to hide her, cherish her, spoil her and make sure that smile never fades. When she let go and moved back, she went and hugged all her brothers and parents, thanking them for letting her stay and that she would make them very proud and be one of the kingdom’s best scholars when she grew up. It was cruel that we were separating a pup from her family, but her family did say she always wanted the scholarship, and no doubt, with her qualifications and academic and warrior background, she would’ve been selected; we just sped up the
timeline.
Soon it was time for dinner, even though we wanted our little mate to sit with us so we could ensure she ate a proper meal; with all her excitement and the dessert she ate, she was high on adrenaline and jumping around everywhere; who knew if she would eat. But we bit our tongues and went to the high table with our parents; we even asked alpha Albert and luna Clarise to join us along with our royal beta and gamma families. You could see the daggers thrown toward alpha Albert and luna Clarsie. Sitting at the high table with the king and queen was considered an honour. Little did all of them know, we were all family, soon to be tied by an unbreakable bond. We all ate and talked; mine and Jayden’s eyes kept glancing towards our little mate, ensuring she was safe and eating.
She seemed happy, ecstatic actually and was telling what smelled like an omega about her scholarship and all her plans after she was done. The thought of her leaving, even if it was after a couple of years, was still gut–wrenching. Hopefully, when she’s twelve, we can talk to her family and keep her here under a new guise. Time passed on, and slowly the ballroom started to empty; only a few members of the royal court were left, along with our little mate’s family and all the royal leader’s families.
I smelt my little mate coming towards us; it took everything in me not to turn around and give her my full attention even before she got here. Repeating the mantra that it was for her safety in my head, I kept my back facing her till I felt a soft hand poke my leg. Jayden and I turned around at the same time giving her our full attention, while our parents and hers looked down at her, Rex and Jacob. She scrambled on her feet before she meeked out adorably.
“Um, your highness, you promised to give me a tour of the castle, and it’s bad not to keep promises. The goddess doesn’t like it when her children lie.” She said.
Goddess! She was adorable. I wanted to pinch those chubby cheeks till they were red.
“Honey! I’m sure their highnesses are tired. Why don’t you and auntie Meg go explore the castle tomorrow after you get permission from the king and queen.” Her father said.

“It’s alright, Alpha Alber. If Kayden and Jayden have promised Kara to show her the castle, they should. A king should never go back on his word.” Said mom.
“But your majesty… Alpha Albert began but was cut off by Jayden.
“It’s quite alright, Alpha Albert, Kayden and I don’t mind. Plus, mother is right. What kings would we be if we couldn’t keep a simple promise to a pup as simple as this.” He said.
He was calm, but I could feel his emotions; he wanted to please our mate and hurt the person who made her cry. We weren’t violent people, but just seeing the tears in our little male’s eye made Jayden and me want to wage war.
Alpha Albert and his Luna still seemed unsure.
“We’ll be back in an hour, do not worry, alpha. Go back to your chambers. We’ll personally see that Kiara is brought back to her assigned quarters.” I said, a note of finality in my voice
They both hodded and went to kiss our little mate, that was beaming now, telling her to behave and not to annoy us. They
left.
Kiki turned to us and smiled.
alpha kings bike and car collection? I really wants to see them. I don’t get why he “Let’s go! Oh, and can we also see the a likes them. They are dumb! But boys are boys, and they can be stupid.” She said as she and Jacob poked one another.
Jayden and I chuckled. She was definitely going to be a handful.
