Chapter 15
“No, mom, we can’t tell them just yet. Think about it yourself. She’s nine years old and mated to the kings, whose emotions are ten times more than the average alpha. Everyone knows how ruthless we can get; which parent would want ho leave their only daughter in such a case.” I said.
“He’s right, darling. We can’t tell James as of yet.” Said, dad.
Mom sighed and nodded.
“I liked your idea about the scholar’s scholarship. That way, she can be tn the castle for you guys to keep an eye on and can even continue her studies. According to Luna Clarise, Klards super Intelligent; her academic IQ is that of a sixteen- year–old. It would definitely make sense why we’re offering the scholarship to her, and the scholarship is three years long. so we don’t have to worry till she turns twelve about–how to keep her here. Till then, we can even inform her family.” Said mom, nodding to herself, liking the idea.
From everything we discussed, that was the best way to go. The only problem was making our little mate and her family agree, which I had no clue how to do.
“But how are we going to make them all agree?” Asked Jayden, shatching the question right out of my mouth.
Mom smiled at us and got up, dusting the imaginary dust off her clothes and said.
*Don’t you worry pretty little heads about that, darlings; leave it to me.” She said and turned around, pecked our heads and dad’s lips, then left, practically skipping out of the office. Making all three of us chuckle at her excitement. When we all calmed down, dad faced us and said.
“Boys, I’m happy that you’ve finally found your mate, but I want you to remember a few things…” he started, then looked at us if we were listening; we smiled and told him to go on, one, the mate bond is sacred, it shouldn’t be taken lightly. You’ve bedded different she–wolves over the years, but that needs to stop now. Out of respect for Kiara, you wouldn’t want her jumping from bed to bed with other male wolves, so the same standard is expected from you.” He said.
I had already agreed to stop, and I knew Jayden would too. We both wanted our mate when the time would come, and dad was right. We would’ve expected the same from her if it was her in our place; it was only fair and the right thing to do anyway. Both of us nodded and told dad to go on.
“Second, she is just a pup and nine years old. I know your wolves are already possessive of her, and with you both being kings, the feeling will be tenfold and more as she grows, but that doesn’t mean you can interrupt in her life. You need to let her grow, make friends regardless of its males or females.” He said
Jayden and I snarled at the thought of our little Kiara being all friendly with other male wolves, but dad was right; she was only nine years old. She had every right to live her life and explore stuff. We would just have to keep an eye on her to ensure she stays s away from bad influences and trouble.
“The last thing, you must not, and I mean it, you must not let anyone even get the slightest of hint she is your mate for now. You can put her in a lot of danger. The Luna queer crown is something that is extremely coveted. Don’t put your mate in a position where she gets hurt because of it. He finished.
This time we growled out. Jayden and I would tear any motherfucker that even thought about looking at our mate maliciously, but dad was right. We had to be careful.
Goddess, please give us strength! This is the ultimate test!
