I am and should have been considered a rogue since birth. So are my “pops” and do is Knightly. There’s a list of laws that rogues have to follow and it’s not as intense as the pack laws Knight might be a rogue for all the wrong reasons but I feel like it’s the only way he could have been himself. A way to step away from both his father figures and the burden they both want him to carry.

The house finally comes into view and I hear my baby gasp. The house has been repainted and there are some very luxurious cars on a truck parked up front. The yard to the right side has been completely changed into some kind of garage made out of darkly tinted glass
“It’s the Barbie beach house, Mommy!” she cries out, kicking the back of the driver’s seat. Knightly can not contain the laugh that comes out of him as she continues to scream out excitedly. “Daddy, hurry! Out. Please!”
“I’m coming,” he laughs all the way to her.
“Did it have to be pink?” Aizen whispers.
“This was a gift from grandma.” I tell him. “This is where D.A.D. grew up,”
His eyes light up the way they always do when he gets something he wants. My best guess is that he wants to know more about Knightly. When they began school, he was the first to question why they didn’t have a dad. Why his friends went over to their cousin’s houses and they didn’t have any.

I take his hand so he doesn’t follow. I quickly take my phone out to record her coming around the other side. The sound of her little shoes pounding away at the wood comes first before she runs out with a huge grin on her face
She screeches out excitedly. I don’t understand the words coming out of her mouth, but I know she’s so happy that it goes all the way around like the terrace of the penthouse above us back in Paris She’s always wanted to go up there, but the mean old lady that lives there once threw a cat from the terrace and I was always too afraid to ask
A warm peaceful feeling floods my chest. I place my hand over it knowing that it’s the thing inside of me. She’s very happy at the moment and I understand what she means: we’re the same body but not the same person. While I’m very happy about this, there’s just so much to be worried about.
