Chapter 72
Ariana
“Oh hello darling, did you need something else?” Molly asks as I slip back into the kitchen and check that no one else is lingering around.
“Molly, what is said between us, stays between us, right?” She raises an eyebrow and puts her hand on her hip.
“What have those silly boys done now? Do you need me to tell them what’s what?”
“Molly, I need a pregnancy test…” I whisper out.
“Oh Oh!!!!!” She grabs my hands and I shush her to be quiet.
“I’m not sure if I am okay, but I’m not ready to tell them with everything that is happening. They’ll just double the guards and lock me down further.”
She smiles wide and gives me a long hug. “Okay darling, I understand, but as you know I am well past my baby making days so I don’t have any with me, but we can take a quick trip to Camilla’s office and I’m sure she can clear this up for us.”
Of course, Camilla, why didn’t I think of that? Either way, both of these women have been nothing but supportive and loving to be so I’m sure they’ll help keep this secret.
We make our way to Camilla’s office to see one of the guards leaving and slip around him to go inside.
“Well this is a surprise! What can I do for you two today?”
Molly looks at me to silently ask permission and I nod for her to go ahead.
“We need a pregnancy test, Camilla.” Molly says proudly and Camilla looks shocked and then excited.
“Do the boys know?” she asks getting up and going to a cabinet.
“Not yet, I want to be sure and tell them when the time is right. I mean how would a baby even work in our situation?”
“Whatever crazy thoughts you have running around your head dear, stop them. Those boys will love and cherish a baby, no matter who the father. I’ve heard them talking about it. They’re excited for the future of marriage and children. Trust me.” She holds out a cup and points to the bathroom connected to her office. I take the cup and give her a half smile. Km not sure how I would be as a mother, I’ve always wanted one, but what if I’m no good at it? What if they get jealous over who the father is. Will this break us? I take the cup back to Camilla and she pops a stick into it and the three of us sit close watching it, waiting for the results. All the while my heart is thundering in my chest and my ears. Camilla glances at the clock, and then back to stick before she picks it up and looks at me.
“Congratulations sweet girl, you’re going to be a mother!”
Holy…fucking…shit.
Just then the door starts to open behind me and I see Camilla quickly shove the stick behind her back. My eyes flick to the cup on the desk and I smack it off the table sending pee onto the carpet and the cup into the corner of the room.
“Honey?”
Tony enters and Luca and Luciano stand behind him in the doorway.
They all look curiously around at the three of us who are stood straight and ridged.
Luciano steps forward and sniffs the air, scrunching his nose.
“Are you still not feeling well? You can stay home if you need to…” Ile says looking me over and then back to Camilla.
Oh no, I’m fine. I was just brining Molly in because she has an STI“, I blurt out and Molly looks shockingly at me.
“You mean UTI.” Camilla saves my slip up quickly and the guys all look awkwardly between us.
Chapter 72
“Are you okay Molly? Do you need some time off?”
“Uh, no dear, I’ll be fine.” She pats his hand and looks back to me.
“Off you go darling, Camilla will sort me out here.” The guys all turn to leave, and I look back to give Molly and Camilla a silent thank you and sorry. They let their amusement shine through, and I know my secret is safe with them.
“I’m taking some of your puppies with me today, Angel. You’ll still have Jeremy, Ramen and Hays, along with another team I’ve organised, but I’ll need Brody, James and Hudson to ensure my shipment runs smoothly and they’re trained on protocols in case I need them to take over for me in the future.”
“That’s fine, I’ll be in good hands with Tony, you know that.”
“Just promise me you’ll stay close to him, okay?”
“Luciano, the club won’t even be opened, it’ll just be staff and us and your many guards. We will be fine.”
He gives me a long kiss, holding my face and pulling me in close.
Okay, okay, my turn!” Luca says from the side jumping slightly like a boy on Christmas. I giggle and wrap my arms around his neck, standing on my tip toes to ravish his mouth. His hands slide down to my ass and he squeezes tightly and lets out a feral growl.
“Okay big guy, off to work with you!” I playfully smack his ass as he pouts at me.
The clearing of a throat pulls me out of the moment and I turn to see Jeremy watching the whole encounter.
“Don’t you dare even think about saving that to your wank bank, bloody creeper!” I playfully scold him
“Hey, I was here the whole time! You just made it weird, not me!” He throws his hands up in surrender.
The guys depart and I’m left with Tony, getting into a car with him, Jeremy, Hays and Ramen to head to the club. I hope Candy is there. We might chat on the phone all the time, but I do miss her energy, and I could use some of that after these last couple of weeks. I pull out my phone to text her, if she’s not there already, she’ll come in for me.
