Isla
Well, tonight’s the night. This is either going to go really well, or really, really fucking bad and honestly, I think it’s going to be the latter. Although Mam was super supportive last night and I know she’s a total badass, I still question exactly how much pull she has when it comes to keeping my three mafia Daddys from killing the two guys I want. I’ve already picked out my outfit and laid it out on my bed. A light fitted gold bodice that flows out at the waist and shimmers in the right light. I’ll match it with my gold, strappy heals and that will be that. It doesn’t need to be over the top, just enough. I spent the morning packing a few bags of things I just couldn’t live without after I got a text from Nico asking why I hadn’t packed yet. It took me about two hours to find the cameras he had hidden around my room and instead of taking them down I made a point of lining them up at the end of my bed and getting myself off in front of them. I’m sure he liked that because for some reason deposited ten thousand dollars into my bank account and said “Good girls get prizes“.
Once I’ve checked and double checked the place settings, décor, food and drinks for the evening I stand in the dining room and straighten out the nonexistent wrinkles in my dress. Mom is the first one to enter, followed by my Dads.
“You look beautiful, Princess.” Mum greets me.
“Like an angel.” My Dad agrees, giving me a warm hug on his way to the head of the table.
“Do you have any extra thoughts about how you want this agreement to go, honey?” Hunters Dad asks as he takes his seat.
“Well, actually…” I catch Mom in the corner of my eye giving a silent shake of her head. “Lets just see how tonight goes. I’m sure we’ll be able to hash out all the details once Mr Capaldi is present.”
“Just remember that it’s your choice, and we’ll back you all the way, okay, Princess?” Luca’s Dad says with complete
seriousness.
“I know, thank you Daddys.”
Kaiden, Hunter and Mason file in taking their usual seats across and next to
- me.
“Mr Capaldi has arrived.” One of the staff state, taking his place at the dining room doors. We all stand and my Dad moves
to greet Nico with a firm handshake before he offers for him to sit. Nico takes the place on my other side.
“Miss Isla, you look beautiful this evening.”
“Thankyou, Mr Capaldi, you look very handsome yourself.”
I catch the way all three of my Dads stiffen in their seats, their masks of nonchalant slipping. Daddy Luca practically. chokes on his wine and Mom has to pat him on the back until he comes back from it. I’m thankful for my brothers this evening having clearly decided they approve of Nico so at least I have a few supporters at the table.
“So, Mr Capaldi.” My father starts as dinner is cleared from the table.
“Please, call me Nico.”
“Nico. Our daughter had discussed with us last week that she would like to make some changes to our agreement.
“Oh really?” Nico turns to me and I give him my best innocent smile. “Well, Isla and I have been discussing this week…”

“This week?” My Dad Interrupts.
“Yes, your children didn’t tell you that they invited me to their weekend away?”
All heads shoot to my brothers who very calmly put down their drinks and Kaiden starts, “Dads…” but Nico cuts him off, essentially saving their asses.
“I don’t believe this should be an Issue. It was a very generous offer from your sons to get to know them better. They wanted to be sure Isla would be in good hands, which I think I did very well at proving that to them in the time we all spent together. Nevertheless, It also gave me time to discuss the future with Isla and she has come to the decision that she would like to honor our agreement for the alliance between our familles.”
Nico pulls out a contract and passes it to me, I pass it to Mason, who passes it to Mom, and finally to Dad.
“You’ll find in there that the only difference we’ve made to the deal is that I will also take Mason as well.”
“And why would you take Mason?” My Dads irritation starting to flare again and I decide now is as good as a time then ever to drop the bomb.
“Dad… Nico, Mason and I all want to be together.”
“FUCK NO!” He shouts, slamming his hands on the table and shoving his seat back as he stands and looks furiously at Mason. “Did you corrupt my daughter? After I brought you in, fed you, clothed you, made you a made man?! What did you do to my baby?!” He roars out pulling a gun from his jacket and pointing it right at him. Before I know what’s happening, Nico is out of his seat, pulling Mason’s chair back and standing in front of him with his own weapon drawn at Dad. My other two Dads stand and draw their weapons in response, but to my utter surprise, Kaiden and Mason get up and walk directly in front of their own fathers guns, placing the barrels at their chests.
“What the fuck is this, you’ve corrupted all of my children Capaldi?!”
“ENOUGH!” My Mother yells and jumps onto the table, kicking glasses and cutlery in her way. “Guns down, everyone, now!” My Dad is the first to move, sighing heavily and putting his gun on the table in front of him. Kaiden and Hunter take their Dads guns and pocket them and only then does Nico lower is weapon, but he doesn’t let it go.
“I will not stand for a threat against someone I love.” Nico deadpans.
“I didn’t threaten my daughter!” Dad yells back.

“Oh fuck me.” Dad groans, and Daddy Luen starts laughing hysterically. “Maybe this poly thing just runs in the fucking family.” Hunter’s Dad raises a glass that wasn’t kicked off the table. “To family!”
