Chapter 27 – The Perfect Revenge

“What?” Jacob asked with his mouth open in shock, as he stared at me like I had just grown two

heads.

“You heard me,” I smirked.

Jacob exchanged glances with Peter and he sighed.

“This is so humiliating, Lily, why are you doing this? I’m sorry we hurt you but we wanna make things right,” Jacob yelled.

“If you wanna make things right then you will do everything I say you should do without complaints!” I shot back.

Jacob stared at Peter for a while and then sighed, “If I do everything will you invest in our company?”

I shook my head, “If you two do everything I say then I promise to invest in your company. We can even sign an agreement if you want.”

They looked hesitant but then Jacob nodded.

“Alright, me and Peter will sign the agreement,” he said.

I called my secretary who drafted an agreement stating that if they do everything I wanted then I would invest in their company.

When the document was signed and sealed and they’ve taken their own copy my secretary left and I reclined back on my chair.

“Well, get on with it I don’t have all day. I’m supposed to be meeting my fiancé for dinner,” stated.

Jacob grumbled under his breath before he went down on his knees and like the dog he was he licked my shoes. His brother did the same thing.

I stood up and smiled, “Good, you’ve passed the test now the real task begins.”

“There are more?” Jacob asked, horrified.

“Oh just a few more tasks,” I grinned.

I walked out of my office and they followed me. I ordered my guards to join us as we walked to a big hall in my company.

“Now, the real show begins,” I said, smiling.

Suddenly my guards dragged Peter and Jacob away while they were screaming wondering what was going on.

I relaxed on one of the chairs as the curtains suddenly drew and the screen lit up. The projector started to play.

The sound was very audible as I watched Peter and Jacob being tossed into an alley.

“What the hell is this? What is going on here?” Jacob snapped.

Suddenly two men appeared in the alley and attacked Jacob and Peter. I had warned them not to cause any life-threatening injuries.

I watched in delight as the brothers were stabbed twelve times. That was the first betrayal I got from them.

“What is going on?” Peter cried weakly as he crawled on the floor.

“Lily has gone mad,” Jacob responded equally weakly.

Suddenly two men appeared in the alleyway and helped them up. The men drove them to the hospital where they were patched up. They each got fifteen stitches.

I left the hall and was driven to the hospital to see them.

“Please, Lily, why are you doing this? You said you had tasks for us, not kill us,” Jacob groaned

when he saw me.

I shrugged, “You signed a contract. If you stop now it’s null and void.”

Peter groaned softly, “It’s not over yet?”

“Just a little bit more,” I answered.

“You will invest in our company, right?” Jacob asked.

“You have a contract, Jacob, I can’t wiggle my way out of this,” I stated.

“Alright then,” they agreed.

I left and returned back to the hall as the next phase of their task began.

They were roughly taken from the hospital and driven at high speed. The men who took them called me ninety-nine times but I didn’t pick any of the calls.

Then they shoved the boys out of the moving vehicle. I thought I’d feel guilty as they bled but instead I just sat and watched as another set of my men rescued them and took them to the hospital.

Jacob swore loudly under his breath while Peter cursed and hoped it was the last task.

But after they had been patched up, they were pushed and kicked around. Their injuries opened up again and they started bleeding.

Then my men shoved them into a freezer for exactly ten minutes. The brothers were sobbing bitifully by the time they were brought out.

After they were patched up in the hospital, I went to see them.

Jacob and Peter fell on their knees and begged, sobbing.

‘Please, no more, Lily, have mercy on us.”

‘Just one more,” I said, kicking them away, “I don’t know you guys.”

Some policemen entered and dragged them away. That was when it finally dawned on them what I had been doing.

was recreating the sufferings I went through in their hands.

They were locked up in prison and beaten up before being released and patched up.

As the doctor attended to them I spoke, “I couldn’t recreate the scene of the time you made me kneel on a broken bottle under rain to beg for Nadine’s forgiveness. I would have loved to do that but I’m bored already.”

The boys stared at me like I was the devil and when they were discharged, they waved the

document at me.

“Please, invest in the company. We’ve played our part,” they begged.

I sighed, “Oops, I don’t really feel like investing.”

The boys’ eyes went round with anger and shock.

“You promised!” Peter snapped.

I shrugged, “Promises are made all the time doesn’t mean anyone keeps it.”

“How could you do this?! You put us through hell just for your amusement, you’re so heartless! Jacob snapped.

“We have the document, we will sue you!” Peter threatened.

I smiled, “You know, I’m going toward the courtroom, let me give you a ride.”

Like stupid dogs, they hitched a ride in my car to the courtroom and when they got out I joine them.

“Where are you going?” Jacob hissed at me.

“I wanna watch you sue me,” I giggled.

When they presented the document to the judge he frowned.

“This agreement is fake. It doesn’t hold in the courtroom, bring me something real and we’ll talk he said, dismissing them.

What I felt in that moment as I stared at the boys’ faces was nothing short of exhilarating.

Jacob was furious, “How could you?!”

I giggled, “Oops, it seems you gave me a fake wedding certificate and I gave you a fake busines agreement.”
