Villainess Victory: When the Second
Lead Steals the Show.
Chapter 1
The second the college entrance exams were
over, Chase Sterling, the hottest guy in school
-the one I’d been crushing on for two
freakin‘ years—suddenly confessed he was
into me.
I was about to lean in and kiss him when a
barrage of comments popped into my head
like a damn livestream:
[Ugh, stay away from the male lead, you side
piece! Can’t you see he’s cringing? So gross.]
[LOL, does this girl actually think Chase likes
her? He’s just doing this to make Bailey
jealous. Once she apologizes and begs him
back, he’ll dump her so fast.]
[Yeah, and later, to reassure Bailey, Chase
will bankrupt the side chick’s family, so she
can never return to this town. Karma.]
[Forced love never works. She’ll learn that
soon enough.]
I smirked, feeling Chase pull back slightly.
Immediately, I grabbed the collar of his polo
and kissed him square on the mouth.
Who cares if it’s forced? I’m gonna taste this
melon before anyone else does.
01
Bailey Carter’s face went totally green when
く
she saw us.
I broke the kiss, watching the way Chase’s
ears flushed red. A total sweetheart.
I licked my lips. Mmm, he tastes as good as
he looks.
Grabbing Chase’s hand, I strutted over to
Bailey, raising an eyebrow.
“Bailey, honey, you look a little sick. Aren’t
you happy for us?”
Bailey, knowing damn well I had a thing for
Chase, used to tell me all the time how
amazing he was to her.
Then she’d add, with a fake–sad face, how
she didn’t like him that way, and if only he
く
liked someone like me.
Well, I have two amazing qualities: I’m
gorgeous, and I’m petty as hell.
I hold grudges.
Right now, Bailey forced a smile, but it looked
like she wanted to puke.
“Of course! I’m so happy for you both. Wish
you all the best.”
Then she turned and ran off, tears in her
eyes.
Chase automatically took a step to follow her.
“Go ahead,” I said instantly.
“Even though Bailey always told me she
wasn’t into you and hated how you chased
her all the time, I think you’re great. Not like
she says.”
That stopped him in his tracks.
He balled his fists, then turned back to me.
“I’m not going after her. You’re my girlfriend
now.”
“Hungry? Let’s grab some food.”
Comments:
[OMG, this side chick is such a snake! She
stole the male lead’s first kiss and now she’s
taunting the female lead. Typical
homewrecker.]
[Um, they’re not even together yet. And
Chase asked her out first. How is she a
homewrecker?]
[Yeah, if we’re talking snakes, what Bailey did
before was way worse.]
[I don’t care! Anyone who interferes with the
main couple is trash.]
[OMG, he’s taking her to the fancy restaurant
he booked a month ago for Bailey! Why does
she get to eat there?]
