Amelia pondered, puzzled, ‘Who would be sending me flowers? Could it be an additional birthday gift from Landon? That’s possible.
Amelia felt warmth in her heart as she picked up the card attached to the bouquet.

It turned out the flowers were from Zachary. What a shame.
Amelia’s expression clouded over, and she summoned Riley. “Throw these flowers out.”
“What?” Riley was shocked. “But they’re so beautiful.”
“Dispose of them. And reject any flowers that are sent by the same person.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Amelia shredded the card to prevent it from being seen and causing any trouble.
Zachary was clearly trying to undermine her, hoping she would be suspected by Gloria and expelled from the Kingsley family.
‘You think you can tarnish my reputation with a few flowers? Never. I no longer value anything you send to me.’
Just after she had disposed of the card, Henry showed up. “Amelia, I saw Riley throwing away a bouquet of roses. Which admirer sent them to you?”
“Is it any of your business?” Amelia’s face was cold and composed.
Zachary sent the flowers, and Henry showed up next–clearly a coordinated move. Fortunately, she had acted swiftly and destroyed the card.
“Of course, it is. As the daughter–in–law of the Kingsley family, your actions represent ours.” Henry stated. “Although Landon is a vegetable and can’t satisfy you in certain ways, you must not bring shame upon him.”
“Henry, watch your language,” Amelia warned, her anger barely contained.
Ignoring her, Henry continued, “Amelia, if you disappoint us, the Kingsley family…”
“I have not done anything to disappoint the Kingsley family. If you think I am at fault, please present your evidence.” Amelia clutched her pen tightly, resisting the urge to stab it into Henry’s head.
“Who sent those flowers just now?” Henry inquired with a malicious glint in his eye.
“I have no idea,” Amelia replied coldly.
Henry pressed. “If you don’t know, why did you throw the flowers away?”
“I won’t accept any gift that isn’t from my husband,” Amelia declared, and then challenged. “Henry, did I do wrong in throwing them out?”

Henry was left speechless, then thought to himself, ‘Well, you won’t admit it? There must be a card. A good topic:
When Riley discarded the flowers, he noticed that there was no card. He believed Amelia must have disposed of it.
Henty rose and began pacing around the office, searching for the card.
Amelia, divining his intentions, inquired, “Henry, what are you searching for? Should I open the shredder for you so you can check inside?”
Henry’s gaze flickered, his eyes darting towards the shredder. ‘She destroyed the card beforehand?‘
Grinding his teeth in frustration, Henry admitted, “Amelia, I’ve underestimated you”
“Henry, you have always despised me. However, you messing with Zachary implies you don’t have much discernment,” Amelia scoffed. “Zachary likes to play tricks. I hope you won’t get manipulated by him.”
With the plot exposed, Henry looked flustered and denied. “I’m not familiar with anyone named Zachary.”
“Good,” Amelia nodded. “Zachary and I have a deep–seated animosity. Anyone who sides with him is my enemy. I will show no mercy.”
At that moment, her slender figure radiated a fierce sense of enmity and authority.
Henry was taken aback and asked with a hint of guilt, “He’s your ex–boyfriend. Do you harbor that much hatred towards him?”
“Yes, I do.” Amelia affirmed, taking a deep breath: “Henry, if you’re done here, please leave. You shouldn’t have come to the company during the wager.”
“Well, I came because I care about you.”
Henry left in shame, telling Zachary what Amelia had said as he exited the company.
Zachary’s face turned ashen, and he was visibly humiliated. “She’s so cold to me.”
“Mr. Foster, women can be foolish when in love. But once she wakes up, jer resolve intensifies. Your cunning doesn’t sway Amelia. Think of another plan. Don’t get me involved until your next trap is set. I’m too old to mess with you.”
Henry patted Zachary on the shoulder, deciding to abandon this unwise pawn.
“Mr. Kingsley, aren’t you concerned that she might truly be carrying Landon’s child?” Zachary inquired.
Henry’s expression shifted dramatically, and he halted in his tracks.
