The bright sun streamed down as Amelia, in no rush to leave after exiting the hospital, found a nearby café and savored the delectable fara visita awaiting the good news.
Indeed, she had “invited” those debt collectors to the hospital herself.
Online public sentiment was buzzing. The Edwards family had lost face today, and the one who suffered the most was Sandra.
The Foster family prided itself on its scholarly reputation, and Walter’s failure to repay debts would make Sandra’s marital journey extremely challenging.

Sandra crawled two steps forward, embracing Amelia’s leg and weeping.
In her last life, Amelia would have been moved by Sandra’s tears. But in this life, all she felt was revulsion.

Amella extended two slender fingers, tapped the table gently, and replied deliberately, “I won’t help no matter what –
I’ll die, then. Will you be satisfied?” Sandra declared as she rose, produced a fruit knife from somewhere, and pressed it in her wrist.
Bright red blood seeped out, stark against her fair skin.
Zachary burst in, shouting anxiously, “Sandra, don’t do anything stupid.”
“Oh, wonderful. The adulterous pair is both here,” Amelia’s loathing intensified, her fair fingers clenching the cup handle tightly.

Sandra wailed, portraying herself as the victim.
Amelia rapped the table and coldly reminded, “Sandra, why not ask Zachary for help? He is your lover, the father of your unborn child. If you turn to him, he’ll surely agree to help.”
Zachary’s eyebrows twitched, sensing the impending danger of being implicated.
“Zachary is penniless,” Sandra sobbed. “Amelia, you’re the only one who can help Dad right now.”
“I’m afraid I’m without funds as well,” Amelia sneered.

“Impossible. You are the daughter–in–law of the Kingsley family. How could you be without money?” Sandra blurted out.
“So, are you plotting against the Kingsley family?” Somehow Gloria suddenly appeared, her imposing presence startling everyone.
Amelia was taken aback as well. After all, she had transferred 100 million dollars from Kingsley Group today…although she hadn’t spent it yet.
“Mrs. Kingsley?” Sandra shuddered and hastily explained, “No, no, that’s not what I meant.”
“What exactly do you mean, then?” Gloria turned to Amelia.
Amelia called out guiltily, “Gloria…”
‘Is Gloria here to ask about the 100 million dollars? Fortunately, I haven’t spent it yet.‘
But how could she explain her private transfer? Borrowed it from Landon? No one else could hear Landon’s thoughts, and even if he really lent it, no one would believe it. Moreover, he didn’t agree to lend it…

Each of her steps was taken with a steady, firm, and powerful stride. He suddenly felt that Amelia was far better than Sandra.
Amelia never made a scene, let alone cried, caused a disturbance, or publicly threatened self harm. She was always composed, dignified, beautiful, and
noble.
However, Sandra was either crying or causing trouble at any time. What a foolish girl.
Especially recently, with the loss of Stonefield’s land, Zachary had been overwhelmed and had to endure her tantrums.
“Zachary, what should I do about my father? Amelia called those debt collectors to his ward,” Sandra asked, feeling wronged.
