Amelia gathered her courage and gradually inclined closer, pressing herself against Landon.
“Wh–what are you doing?” Landon was taken aback once more.
“Sleep with veu.” Amelia whispered.
Her warm breath mingled with his, carrying a fragrance that was both alluring and inviting.
Her kisses grazed his neck, each one as delicate and fragrant as the last, igniting a tremor in every cell of his body.
The sensation of her incredibly soft and full curves lingered in his palm. Landon’s breath became heavy, and a surge of longing filled his heart. He craved her. Right now. His fingers twitched and came to rest on her waist.
Amelia was very happy. Indeed, seduction works wonders, and he’s moving once more. However, his hands are nearly devoid of strength…
Amelia reclined atop him, twisting slightly, her garments sliding to reveal a slender waist.

“Landon…” Amelia called out softly, her voice tinged with shyness.

“Amelia…” Landon murmured.
The strain of trying to fulfill his desires left him uneasy. But he was powerless to do anything beyond caressing her with his left hand.
For a fleeting moment, he even thought vengefully, ‘When I regain my health, I’ll keep her confined to bed for three days.‘
Landon was still grinding his teeth, caught between pleasure and frustration, but Amelia had already risen. The pull of gravity faded, and desire was dispersed into the void by the cold air.
“No need to thank me. Just remember to protect me after our divorce,” Amelia said as she smoothed down the hem of her clothes to conceal her slender waist, her cheeks flushed and burning.
Landon was stunned. ‘Ah, yes. She was merely trying to provoke me and didn’t mean anything by it…She controlled it well and withdrew at will. But was driven mad by her teasing.‘
Landon felt upset and responded irritably in a hushed tone, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll keep it in mind.’
“That’s good,” Amelia replied, lifting her red lips into a radiant smile. “Your left hand is healing well. You need to practice more.”
Landon flexed his fingers and slowly raised his left hand. The sensation of movement was distinct and potent.
He lifted his hand and lowered it repeatedly. He enjoyed this newfound capability.
After three months of confinement to his bed, he was finally able to move a little.
Amelia was genuinely happy for him and felt that the sacrifice she had just made was well worth it.
She turned on her phone, captured this moment, and sent it to Aaron.
Aaron, who had just finished pulling an all–nighter and was now exhausted, became ecstatic the moment he saw the video.

Mr. Kingsley can move. He can move now.
Amelia sent another message: [Currently, he can only move his left hand slightly. Don’t tell anyone about it.y
Aaron responded with a string of joyful and excited emojis and finally assured her that he would keep it confidential and never disclose it
As he lay in bed, he was still delighted that Amelia had inadvertently come to Landon’s side.
He was convinced that it was Amelia’s doing that Landon could now “speak” and move.
Amelia found herself in a predicament after cleaning up. She wondered, ‘Should I sleep on the sofa tonight? Or continue to share the bed with him?”
She used to share the bed with him daily since he was immobile, and it didn’t matter how much she squirmed. She would casually roll over on the large bed and sleep soundly in his embrace.
‘But now he can move his left hand. What if he takes advantage of me?‘ With these thoughts in mind, Amelia decided to retreat to the sofa for the night.
Landon had settled down and was waiting for Amelia to join him in bed. In just a few days, he had gotten used to sleeping with her.
However, after waiting for a long time for her to come to bed, he heard the sounds of someone restlessly tossing and turning on the sofa.
Landon was displeased and inquired, “You’re sleeping on the sofa?”
“Yes.”
Amelia rolled over again. ‘Alas, the sofa is not as comfortable as the bed.
“Why? Are you afraid that I’ll touch you?” Landon sneered.
Amelia, hearing his unhappy tone, replied guiltily, “No. You are a gentleman and wouldn’t do such a thing.”
“A gentleman?” Landon’s smile turned even colder.
‘Backhanded compliment? Are you provoking me? I knew it.‘
“By the way, you haven’t agreed to lend me the money,” Amelia suddenly remembered and sat up.
Landon stopped laughing and outright ignored her.
“Landon, are you going to lend me the money or not?” Amelia pressed.
Landon remained silent..
Amelia, panicking, rushed to the bedside to shake him. “I know you’re not asleep yet. Answer me.”
‘No.‘ Landon stated angrily in his heart.
Amelia was taken aback. “Why are you acting this way? A mere 100 million dollars is nothing to you…”
“No is no.”
Landon was in a sulk, refusing to lend money no matter what she said.
Amelia, infuriated, stamped her foot and sneered, “You said no? That’s not up to you. I have your seal and signature authority. I can approve as much as I like.”
‘Amelia. You dare?‘ Landon laughed angrily.
“I don’t want 100 million dollars anymore, I’ll approve myself 150 million dollars,” Amelia declared, returning to the sofa and sleeping contentedly.

150 million dollars is enough to buy the entire Edwards Group. If it’s not enough, I’ll approve myself more funds. Anyway, he can’t stop me for now. All his money is mine. I will return the money to him after Edwards Group is revitalized.‘
Landon clenched his teeth in a mix of anger and regret entrusting her with his private seal.

Amelia slumbered peacefully on the sofa, while Landon lay awake for half the night, only succumbing to sleep as the first light of dawn broke.

A sense of unease weighed on Landon’s heart. ‘Is she heading to Edwards Group today? The sulfuric acid incident yesterday was clearly a trap set by Walter.
‘If she really does go to Edwards Group today, the creditors will make trouble for her.’
Fretful, Landon wanted to call out to her in a warning and yearned to go to Edwards Group in person to stand by her side.
Regrettably, all his desires remained confined to his thoughts, unable to manifest into action.
A profound feeling of helplessness washed over him.
‘I shouldn’t have lost my temper last night. I should have given her the money and shared a few more strategies…What have I done? Amelia, don’t be foolish, please come back safely…
“Mr. Kingsley.” Aaron entered, his voice brimming with elation.
“Congratulations, Mr. Kingsley, one step closer to waking up.” Aaron came to the bedside, gazing at Landon with evident satisfaction.
Landon, upon hearing Aaron’s voice, became even more agitated. ‘Without Aaron around, she went to the Edwards Group alone and would suffer. Damn it. How could Aaron let her go alone?‘
Aaron flung open the curtains to allow the sunlight to bathe Landon and aid in calcium absorption.
The blinding light caused a massive halo to appear before Landon’s eyes. In the glare, he envisioned Amelia in the office, her attire disheveled, being cornered by several disgusting middle–aged men…
‘Stop it.‘ Landon seethed with rage and snapped his eyes open.
