After what felt like an eternity, Daniel finally pulled himself together.
When Daniel turned around, he saw Amelia clinging to Landon’s chest in tears, while Landon fixed him with a protective glare.
Daniel felt like something was twisting his heart, and the pain was sharp.
Then, Daniel walked over and knelt beside the wheelchair, softly calling, “Amy.”
Amelia shuddered and looked up, her tearful eyes filled with shock that tugged at both men’s heartstrings.
“Can I call you Amy from now on?” Daniel asked.
Amelia nodded. “Sure.”
“Did Mom give you your name?” Daniel asked again.
Amelia froze in shock, her tears momentarily forgotten.
She thought, ‘Daniel’s attitude…‘
“Indeed,” Landon answered for Amelia.
Daniel broke into a smile.
His gentle smile cut through all the sorrow as he gazed at Amelia, his beautiful half–sister.
Daniel said, “Amelia, Mom would have wished you eternal happiness.”
Amelia was speechless, nervously biting her lower lip.
Daniel continued, “Mom gave me my name, too. She hoped I would shine as brilliantly as the morning sun.”
Amelia’s eyes welled up with fresh tears.
“Amy, I’m your brother.”
Daniel extended his hand, his tender smile radiating the warmth of an elder brother.
Amelia stood frozen in disbelief.
Amelia didn’t dare to believe that Daniel was acknowledging her just like that. Wouldn’t he have some resentment in his heart?
Landon spoke and reminded her, “Honey, it hasn’t been easy for your brother to find Mom. Don’t let him down.”
As if waking from a dream, Amelia placed her hand slowly in Daniel’s.
“Brother…” Amelia whispered.
Daniel gave her hand a firm squeeze, his eyes reddening. “Yeah.”
Landon watched the siblings with a quiet smile.
“Daniel didn’t let me down,” Landon thought.
After leaving the hospital, both Amelia and Daniel had calmed down.

Daniel shook his head. “No need it’s not safe at the hotel. You keep it for now. Once the DNA results are in, we’ll go back to Pinecrest together to pay our
respects.”

Amelia sniffled weakly, completely drained from crying for so long. Her whole body felt limp and listless.
Landon’s heart ached for her. After bidding Daniel farewell, he hurried her home.
“Honey,” Landon said, “you should be happy about this.”
“Yeah,” Amelia murmured, leaning against his shoulder with half–closed eyes. “Honey, I’m exhausted. No more talking. Let me sleep for a while.”
“Alright.”
Amelia sank into a deep, dreamless sleep.
She fell asleep as soon as she got in the car, slept all afternoon, and didn’t wake up until the next day.
No matter how Landon tried to rouse her, Amelia just batted his hand away and kept on sleeping.
She was rarely like this.
Landon watched as Amelia slept with an almost comatose intensity and fell into deep thought.
The revelation about her past was certainly upsetting, but that was no reason for her to be sleeping like this. Landon wondered if her health had been affected by Patrick’s poison.
“Honey, what time is it?” Amelia murmured, leaning lazily against the headboard.
Maybe she’d slept too long, because now she felt completely drained. She didn’t even want to get out of bed.
“Sleepyhead, you’ve slept for fifteen hours.” Landon’s chiseled face broke into an adoring smile. “Has all that sleep made you weak?”
“How did you know?” Amelia asked in surprise.
Landon said, “I was in a coma for over three months.”
“Guess all that sleep made me lazy,” Amelia admitted with a sheepish smile. “I’ll get up and head to work now.”
“Alright, there’s nothing urgent at work today. Just stay home and get some rest,” Landon said, keeping her in bed.
Amelia flopped back onto the bed, stretching lazily. “Good thing I’m a boss now. Otherwise, I could never bear to take time off like this.”
“Look at you, being such a little slacker.”
Landon gave her cheek a pinch, then planted a kiss on the back of her hand. “It’s a beautiful sunny day. Why don’t you get up and have something to eat?”
“Alright.”
Amelia finally got out of bed.

After moving around a bit, Amelia felt her energy slowly returning

The scorching summer sun at 9 a.m. was already intense, but Amelia found it even more pleasant and continued basking in its warmth
Landon couldn’t take the heat anymore and asked, “Aren’t you bothered by this sun?”
“It’s so warm and toasty.” Amelia closed her eyes and tilted her face up, letting the sun warm her from every angle.
Landon was speechless.
Landon wondered, ‘Most girls are afraid of sunburn. Why isn’t she?‘
Looking at her skin again, under the sunlight, it was tanned with a rosy glow, appearing even more dewy than before.
What magical genes she must have possessed to have such radiant tanned skin.
“Honey, don’t you think this feels nice?” Amelia asked.
Landon was already breaking a sweat under the scorching sun, and all he wanted was to retreat to the shade and cool off.
But since Amelia loved soaking up the sun, he’d stay by her side.
“It feels nice,” Landon said.
“Then let’s stay here and soak up the sun a little longer.”
Landon hesitated before saying, “Alright.”
In the presidential suite of the hotel, Daniel tossed and turned all night, his face looking pale.
Micah Lynch, the accompanying assistant, cautiously asked, “Mr. Zuckerberg, are you really going to acknowledge Ms. Edwards as family?”
“She’s my sister,” Daniel said.
Daniel fixed Micah with a steely glare. “She’s your boss, too. Understand?”
“I understand, Mr. Zuckerberg. But will Mr. Porter Zuckerberg really approve of you bringing Ms. Edwards back home?” Micah asked worriedly.
Those two back home weren’t to be messed with.
Daniel sneered. “What good would his objection do? If he’s really that capable, let him disown me, too.”
Micah fell silent, too frightened to say another word./
Daniel paced restlessly in the presidential suite, his brows deeply furrowed.
Finally, he came to a stop before the floor–to–ceiling window.
“Norava’s sky is so much clearer than Lunova’s,” Daniel said. “Maybe Amy wouldn’t even want to go back to Lunova at all.”
“Well, Ms. Edwards already has a family,” Micah reminded him cautiously.
“Landon is quite a remarkable man,” Daniel said, narrowing his eyes. “Unfortunately, he can’t walk.”

Micah was shocked. He wondered if Daniel was planning to break up
their marriage.
“Have Morgan examine him. If he can be cured…” Daniel’s voice trailed off.
Landon waking up after three months in a coma and recovering to this extent was nothing short of a miracle.
They couldn’t really ask for more than that.
But when it came to a son–in–law, the Zuckerberg family’s standards were sky–high.
Daniel stood by the window, gazing at Norava’s cityscape. Slowly, his brows furrowed in thought.
