The lipstick on Landon’s cheek stung Amelia’s eyes. Amelia rudely wiped her lips with a tissue.

He was shocked by Elaine’s unexpected arrival. Landon might have been in trouble if he hadn’t returned to the private room with Amelia in time.

Back at home, Landon quickly fetched a mirror. He was shocked by the lipstick on his left cheek. “Whose?”
“You tell me!” Amelia sneered. “Move the mirror downward.”
Landon shifted his gaze downward and found the mark on his collar. He felt bad.
With hesitation, he looked at Amelia. Amelia wore no makeup, and her lips were perfectly clean.

Landon hung up the phone. He already saw through Elaine’s trick. He thought, “Those marks were deliberately left to anger Amella, With so many peop around, she could do nothing else.”
Landon wheeled himself to Amelia on the bed. “Honey, it is a trap set up by Elaine. I didn’t touch her.”
His humility amused her. She was clear that a kiss and an embrace were all Amelia could do in that situation.
However, she wanted to teach him a lesson. Therefore, she gave him her back and remained silent.
“Honey, trust me. I can’t see any women but you. Besides, a drunk man can’t have sex. Try if you don’t believe me.”
Hearing Landon, Amelia choked on her own saliva. She turned around and looked Landon in the face. “How? You already sobered up.”
A mischievous glint flashed in Landon’s eyes. “You can get me drunk.”
After a moment of shock, Amelia gave Landon a kick. “Liar!”
“Honey.” Landon gently held Amelia’s foot.
“Stop tickling me.” Amelia shivered slightly and tried to pull her foot back.

“Nope.” Landon pulled Amelia into his arms, and a happy smile spread across his face.
It had been quite a while since he slept in the same bed with her. His trick worked and would become his old one.
“Landon, it’s way too cramped. I’m about to fall off!” Amelia complained.
“Let’s stick together.” Speaking, Landon embraced Amelia tightly. His warmth burned her, so she stayed motionless, scared.
“You liked to sleep with me in arms…” Landon said. Instantly, embarrassment got Amelia.
“Honey, you’re soft and smell amazing,” Landon murmured. Amelia remained silent.
She was afraid that Landon would take advantage of her with the wine as his excuse. She didn’t like this idea at all. “Landon…”

“Shh, sleep now,” Landon murmured softly.
Landon closed his eyes and contentedly wrapped his arms around his wife. Part of him wanted to take things to the next level, but he knew time wasn’t ripe yet. With sheer willpower, he restrained himself.

“Nope.” Angry, Amelia pouted her rosy lips, her emotions caught between coquetry and lingering anger.
Landon’s desire for Amelia grew. His voice turned husky as Landon said, “See? A drunk man can’t cheat on his woman. I didn’t get intimate with anyone at the party.”
Amelia was speechless. Was this the reason for her suffering all night? Alas, she should have saved all the trouble with a white lie.
