“Get out of my way,” Landon said, looking angry.
Elaine didn’t expect to be yelled at. She was a little stunned, saying, “Landon, I’m here for business. You–”

“Hmm,” Amelia smiled. Sweetness didn’t come every day, so she had to savor it when it came.
Just then, Landon’s phone rang. It was a call from Aaron. Amelia just wanted to urge Landon to handle his business and not worry about her, and Landon had already gone outside to answer the phone. Usually, he never avoided telling her about work matters.
Amelia thought something was wrong. She got out of bed, followed quietly, and put her ear to the door to eavesdrop.
“It’s her? Control her, and I’ll interrogate her. So what if she comes from the Atkinson family? Anyone who hurts my wife must pay the price.” Landon’s voice was low, but it revealed his fury.
Amelia thought, ‘The Atkinson family? Elaine Atkinson? The person who secretly drugged me and caused me so much pain is Elaine? Amelia opened the door with a sullen face. “Take me with you.”
“Honey?” Landon turned around in surprise. When he saw Amelia’s angry face, he was shocked, thinking, ‘Why did she get out of bed?”
“The person who drugged me is Elaine, right?” Amelia asked.
Landon hesitated for a moment and then admitted, “Yes.”
“I want to get back at her.” Amelia stared at Landon and thought, ‘Will he agree? This matter caused me so much pain. I won’t let Elaine go. But if Landon doesn’t agree, there is nothing I can do.’
