Yalena scoffed instead of getting angry. ‘This man is utterly impossible to get through to,‘ she thought. ‘If it weren’t for his good looks and money, who’d even want to marry a divorced man?‘
Yalena said, “Mr. Lynn, you know what? I think you’re quite pathetic. You still love Teresa, right? But does she love you? No. Do you even know what she’s done to you? Maybe when you find out, you’ll be devastated. Maybe then you’ll see me.”
A palpable chill filled Jonathan’s eyes. “I don’t need an outsider like you commenting on my relationship with her. I won’t say it again. Get out.”
Yalena snapped, “Fine, I’ll leave. You’re still not over Teresa, are you? I’ll make you see who truly loves you. She doesn’t love you.”
