The next morning we spent the day together, me and Uncle Damian, I asked him a couple questions about my wolf side and how she’s acting toward me, and he said that it’s all normal, he was very proud of me for having such a strong bond with my wolf already.
“I wish I knew all of this info before,” I say out loud, wishing I knew a lot more than I did.
Uncle Damian didn’t comment, he didn’t try to tell me to get back to school like I expected him to. to tell me it’s best if I join back my high school. I was starting to think and plan maybe it’s okay to go back to school, I need to have my life back, mom would want that, she wouldn’t want me to stay hidden in my room the rest of my life.
The day was very boring since we didn’t shift today, we only watched some TV, Wolf and I, teasing him wasn’t as good as it used to be so much more fun, these days he’s so sad and low, the teasing will just pass over him.
I was waiting for the night to fall, and for us to go to the said dinner. I got dressed, I fixed my hair, and was thinking of skipping make–up but ended up putting just the tiniest amount under my eyes to hide all the black bags I had there. Once ready, I joined Uncle Damian in his car and we drove off to the restaurant, there we met with our friends and took a seat together.
“Congratulation on changing.” Mariano says to me, as soon as he saw

“Thank you,” I say my cheeks turning bloody red.
“You’re welcome, we have some news as well,” Mariano says turning

“I plan on changing soon, this is going to be our last date before it,” Nutmeg says happily, and I smiled happy for her, she’s going to become a wolf, the one thing she’s been dreaming, about for so long.
“You’re gonna do great,” I assure her, I knew my friend was going to become one hell of a wolf.
“So I was thinking, nothing final yet, but girls how would you feel if you joined the academy together? school is over for my Meg, and ‘she’s going to join the academy before we could go home, so why not do it together?” Mariano says.
“We could join together! We’ll be the three musketeers again, except it’s just you and me this time, we used to have Rosie too, and we need a forth one, but it’ll be just the two of us, two besties out there to take over the world,” she says all excited.
“This whole dinner is a trap isn’t it Nutmeg?” I say looking at her and she just smiles.
“Isn’t there an age limit?” I ask out loud.
“Your stepfather can have it overulled,” Mariano says.”
“And you’re okay with it?” I ask turning to Uncle Damian.
“I’m good with anything you want, but having you out of the house and into the academy will get Levent to get back to his work,” he says telling me by doing this I’d help the love of Mom’s life.
“Fine, I’ll think about it,” I say.
“You’re going to do it! Fuck yeah!” Nutmeg yells making the whole restaurant turn to look at us..
