I closed my eyes and went back to sleep, at first, I couldn’t sleep at all, but now I’m sleeping a lot more, I can’t be bothered to wake up, in my dreams, I could see my mother, I could spend time with her, but in the waking hours, I keep on remembering that she’s gone, and it’s not fun.
“You need to wake up,” Uncle Damian tries to wake me up.
“What for?” I answer him, wanting to sleep some more, I’m too tired.
“You need to shower, change your clothes and maybe we can both get out of here,” he says trying to shake me again.
“I don’t want to get up, I don’t need to shower, and I’m not leaving the house,” I object quickly.
“Yes, you do, you stink, you’ve been in this bed for two full nights now,” he says.
“It only been yesterday,” I answer him.
“Flower, you’re getting the days mixed up, you’ve been like this for the last two weeks,” he says.
“Weeks? Mom died three nights ago,” I answer him, fresh tears
starting to fall down my face, but he had enough of my tears he pulled me off the bed with force and threw me, well he just pushed me gently into the shower turning the hot water on for me and telling me to get my ass clean.

fixed, and I don’t remember the last time I brushed my teeth.
“Nope, this won’t do, turn back in and wash yourself properly,” Uncle Damian objects as soon as I got out of the shower.
“I’m clean,” I object, but even in my state, I knew I wasn’t clean yet, but. I didn’t give a fuck.
“No, you’re not, go back in and get clean, you can’t go out looking like this,” he says in a firm voice, which didn’t sit well with me, I got angry all over again, and then I turned to him with a glare.
“I’m not going the hell anywhere! I’m happy where I am! I’m not leaving ́ this place, not ever,” I screamed at him and went back to my bed, he tried to follow me, but I closed my door and locked it behind me, I didn’t want him to come in here.
“Flower, open the door,” he says knocking on my door.
“Fuck off,” I answer him.
“Flower, why are you doing this? Come on sweetie, just open this door, we can work this out,” he promises me.
“What are we going to work? You can’t bring my mother back and I’m not ready to get out in the world yet, so fuck off,” I yell at him.
“Flower, I can’t leave you here, I refuse to leave you here, you’re coming out with me,” he yells at me.
“Then why don’t you go and get your own brother, he’s been missing for so long, I don’t see you fighting for him,” I say angrily.
“My brother is a wolf, and he’s mourning his mate, he’ll forever be in mourning, he’ll never get out of it and I know trying to get him to listen is a desperate move,” he answers me.

“And I’m not? You care about me so much that you can’t leave me be?” I yell at him angrily.
“You’re my mate Flower! I can’t leave you be, I can’t see you this
depressed and just leave you, so for fuck’s sake, open this damn door,” he says knocking on my door again, but I. shook my head no, although he can’t see me, but I refuse to open it.
“Go away, Uncle Damian, I don’t want to come out,” I say sitting on the ground holding myself together.
“Lotus,” he begs but when I refused to answer he left, I have been thinking of setting him free, him staying near me is only going to get him more depressed and sad by the moment, he’ll be just as miserable as me very soon, and I didn’t want that to happen, maybe if I let him go, maybe if I tell him to go out and live his life, one of us won’t be this sad.
I stayed in that night, skipping dinner, I think I have lost some weight, my clothes are feeling off on me, they feel too baggy and too big for me these days. Tomorrow, when I feel better, I’m going to tell him to get out, tomorrow, when the sun starts shining again.
