I lathered my hair with a lot of soap, he’s right the lake water can’t be good for my hair, or my skin, I was done and joined him back out; he was sitting on the bed, he looked so relaxed and happy, he was happy and so was I.

“She’s near,” he says next, does he mean me?
“What happened?” he asks next, and then he went quiet, too quiet for my liking, he looked at me and smiled, and then moved away, followed him, but he was whispering in such a low voice, I couldn’t understand anything he said.

“Then why don’t you come with me? I promised to tell you when we get there, why do you need to know first?” he asks me.
