“Of course, this isn’t the pack land, the pack land is an hour away, we’re going to be neighbour packs, so you’d get to see us all the time,” Mariano assures me which felt great, I’ll still have my mother and my friends near me.
“Okay, good, good,” I say happily, I was dropped home, while Rosie and Roxie joined Nutmeg for more interrogation, I warned her that Roxie might give up and bite her if she keeps annoying her owner, but she wouldn’t listen.
I walked up to my home, opening the door and going to my room, dropping on the bed, waiting for Uncle Damian get back home or maybe for Mom, or even Levent, it’ll be fun to poke him.
“Flower, would you come out of your room?” I heard Levent yells.
“What for?” I answer him.
“I want to talk to you,” he answers me.
“I’m good,” I object.
“Lotus Green Savage, get your ass out here,” Mom yells and I obey her, I got out of my room and met them in the living room, they were both seated in the sofa, mom laying on her wolf’s shoulder, she looked tired.
“You called,” I say with a big ass smile.
“What are you planning for the spring break?” Levent asks me.
“Nothing, what about you?” I ask them.
“I can’t leave due to work, but Damian can if you want,” Levent says.
“What are you suggesting? Are you trying to kick us out of the house?” I ask them.
“No, and if I did, I’d kick out my own brother, you’re too cute to be kicked out,” Levent says making me blush.
“Stop, you’re making me blush,” I answer him.
“Anyway, the question is would you like to visit the pack land with Damian,” he suggests.
“Why?” I ask confused.
“You’d get to meet our uncle and aunt, you’d get to see the pack land, you’d get to see the other side of Damian, and River has to go back,” Levent says.
“Why isn’t mom coming along?” I ask them.
“I got work,” Levent says.
“Why can’t she come?” I ask them again.
“I can’t leave my mate behind sweetie, that’s why,” Mom says in a calm voice.
“Then drag him along,” I say.
“Work,” he says yet again, and I groaned, so I can’t have any of them along with me.
“Do I have to go?” I ask them, but I actually wanted to go.
“You do,” Levent answers me.
“Why so?” I repeat, it felt like I was getting pushed out of the house

“Because we said so, so just go ahead and enjoy it Lotus, it’s gonna be fun,” Mom promises me, and I groaned, I was getting kicked out, does my uncle even know that he’s being kicked out along with me?
“Plus Flower, we’re part of the snow pack, if we go along we won’t be in the same place as you, we’d be next door,” Levent offers, I left them and went to my room, it was no use arguing with them.
I waited for Uncle Damian to come over by evening, we had dinner as normal, and after that we headed to my room, so he could shift and sit near me, well with some safe distance kept between the two of us.
“I’ll go ahead,” he says and I nod sitting on the bed, it’s getting less scary every time he does it.
“Okay,” I say watching him, watching the way he shifts, the way he turned from being a human just like me into a wolf, it had some magic in it, the whole thing felt magical, and I couldn’t take my eyes off him while did it.
Once in wolf form, he sat down on the floor looking at me, he has conversations with me, I talk and he nods or shake his head in respond, sometimes he’d growl, and it felt nice. I always wished to have a dog, and I finally got one, but it’s a wolf, and he understands me, and he’s also my uncle.
“Have they told you, they want us to go visit the pack,” I ask him, and he looks up at me, confused, so he doesn’t know either.
“Mhm, mom and Levent said that I need to go there, that both of us are going there,” I say with a groan, and he whines, starting to get closer to
