Damian POV
I slept on the floor last night, and I plan on sleeping there tonight too, I don’t like it, I don’t feel comfortable doing so. My wolf side doesn’t give two damns where we sleep, we could be outside under the rain and still we’d be fine, we don’t feel the lack of comfort that the human side feels we’re just okay being anywhere.
Sleeping near our mate’s bed, even if we–couldn’t touch her yet, felt awesome, it made everything feel better, the floor felt much better than our bed, knowing our bed is back in the academy, the military never put the comfort first, so maybe that was a true statement.
“How did you sleep?” Her mother asked her early in the morning, while all of us were sharing coffee, getting ready to get to our jobs and school.
“We slept fine, but he slept on the floor,” she says, pointing at me with a small smile on her face.
“I’m very proud of myself, we did great progress last night,” I say proudly.
“How was your night?” Lotus asks her mother, ignoring our progress but her cheeks were bloody red, she enjoyed it just as much as me.
“It was great,” Victoria says, even she had red cheeks, just like her daughter.
“I’m sure it was, we’re great in the family,” I say teasing her, it’s not just Lotus who knows how to tease people and get to do it.

“Damian, for god’s sake,” her mother says now they are both matching in the red cheeks.
“What, I’m just saying,” I say wanting to tease some more, maybe throw a dirty joke or two, but I couldn’t since Lotus was around, I’m going to hold on to them for later.
“I have a suggestion,” My brother says walking in the kitchen.
“How about you say hello first?” I ask him.
“Good morning Flower, you’re all blooming,” he says meaning her pink cheeks, going to kiss his mate’s cheek.
“What about me bitch?” I ask him.
“You get a suggestion, but since you’re skipping on that, I got nothing to you,” Levent says, how come my older brother, no matter how old he gets, when he’s talking to me, it feels like we’re children all over again. I was always the younger child, but I’m the alpha child, even with my older sibling, I could make him obey me.
“Fine, go ahead, tell me,” I groaned, whatever he got, he was excited for it, and I didn’t listen.
“The school sent an email, an update on Lotus’s status, since she got updated from just human to mate, they are suggesting she takes a wolf class, introduction and she goes up as she’d like,” Levent says.
I knew about those classes, we took one like them when we were just children, but the human mates either get private tutoring by their mates, or get sent to those classes so they’d understand what the hell they are walking into.
“Hey! Mr! You should’ve asked me, and not him,” Lotus Flower says pointing at herself and then at me.

“Maybe he wanted to do private classes,” Levent says with a shrug, he’s giving me a choice first.
“What if I don’t want the private classes? Or if I do, don’t you have to ask me first,” she says, arguing with him, I decided the end the fight before it starts, so I turned to her.
“What would you prefer, precious Flower? Would you like to hit a class at school? Or would you prefer to have private classes with me?” I ask her with a smile on my face, I know the smile was a bit forced, but I was going for the overkill.
“I’d prefer none of those?” she says, suggesting and not telling.
“Nope, two choices, class or with me,” I say and I saw her thinking, so I let her take her time.
“You got coffee?” I ask my brother’s mate, and she hands me a mug.
“Thanks,” I say, making myself one.
“Is there a third option?” Lotus asks from behind me.
“What kind of options?” I answer her.
“I want both, can I get both?” she asks me, and it was my turn to think about it, I don’t think the school would object on me going to class with her, it’ll put her mind at ease, and I’ll be there to know what she learns and make sure she gets the main points. She’s going to become my Luna, the alpha’s mate, others would be looking at her, she’s be under a lot of pressure at first until she gets the hand of it, and any help I can provide first would be great.
“I can join you in the school, I’ll attend the class along with you,” I say and she nods agreeing.
“You got a deal,” I say offering her a hand, we shook hands closing the

“Does your friend mate Mariano join you often?” I ask her, her friend is going to be a Luna as well in the future of the snow pack.
