“Fine, Miss, sorry,” I say blushing.
“I don’t know what going on with you Green, but you better watch it, this isn’t the first note you get today,” she scolds.
“How did you know?” I ask her with a raised brow, did Owen tell her? Was she too from same pack?
“I read the notes, this school teach us like kindergarten teachers, we have to note everything that’s going on,” she answers, I just nod, the blush getting even worse, so every one of my teacher writes notes? About everyhting? What for?
“I see the wheels turning in your head, it’s to keep an eye out for anyone who’s having hard time with their wolves, being their other side or their mates,” she says, makes sense, doesn’t mean I like it.
“Sorry, Miss, won’t happen again,” I repeat.
After that embarrassment, I stayed quiet the rest of the day, until the moment we left, I got in the car with Uncle and his beta River. I don’t know this guy too well, we only met when he joined uncle on the rescue mission, saving me after almost dying, after stealing my mate, Uncle’s Damian’s car, and maybe I stole his money too, I offered to give them but he refused.
“Hello, little thief,” River says, that’s his forever nickname for me.
“I prefer car hijacker,” I answer him with a giggle, I won’t lie the first couple times, it felt bad, but after that I liked.my nickname, made me sound like a bad ass.

“Right, right,” he answers me, he jumped to the backseat, giving me the one next to my mate, he drove us off to god knows where, we weren’t heading home, so I finally asked him.
“Where are we going?” I ask him out loud.
“The academy has a good–sized library and it’s open to all mates, so we’re going there,” he says.
“But you got the answers,” I say my lower lip trembling.
“They could change it, and you have to know the way it’s solved and not just the answers,” Uncle Damian says.
“But…it’s not fair,” I pout, I didn’t want to study.
“Didn’t we agree this morning that you’ll study and you’ll get chocolate afterwards,” he reminds me of our earlier agreement.
“But we got the answers,” I say again with pouty lips.
“And you’ll pass, you don’t have to worry about it, but you need to study first,” Uncle Damian says in a final voice, so I stayed quiet until we got to the academy and even quieter when got to the library to study.
“I’ll make you a better deal than the one with chocolate,” River promises me.
“What kind of deals?” I ask interested, I don’t know this guy yet, but I’m willing to give him a chance.
“You study, and I’ll tell you dirty stories on that mate of yours,” he s. s with a smile on his face.
“Dirty stories?” I repeat, I don’t need to learn about his old stories with girls before me.

“Not that kind of dirty, I mean dirt on him, did you know that he used to steal every exam questions, the teachers would go insane saying that alphas can’t be cheaters, but his answer was always I’m just making sure all my answers are correct,” he says making me laugh out loud, but he was quick to shush me.
“Shush…shushhh…come on,” he says placing both hands over my
mouth.
“How did he do it?” I ask him.
“Do what?” he asks me.
“Steal questions, not just mine, in his old school?” I ask River.
“He’d always cause a diversion, a fight, fire alarm, one time he sent all the teacher a muffin basket, and then he’d slip into the teacher office and steal it, he has the skills of a thief, so when he said you stole his car, it felt like he’s telling you two are a match made in heaven and hell,” River says making me start to laugh again, but he was quick to lift his hands and so I stayed quiet, placing my own hands over my mouth to keep myself quiet.
“Ready to start studying? And then I’ll tell you a lot more of his stories, he used to run away from class, he started fights, and one time he set a teacher car on fire,” River says, I wanted to know some more about him and his past, he sounded like the worst type of bad boy out there, and if a little studying is the price to know why the hell he set a teacher’s car on fire, I’ll do it, plus we got the answers, so he’s only teaching me the important things we need to know.
“Beta, mate, out,” the librarian says standing in front of our table, we’ve only been here for three hours, two for studying and one for hearing how my mate learned how to drive by stealing Levent’s his older brother car.

“Why?” River asks her, confused.
“Because you two are causing chaos, this place should be a quiet place, not one where you giggle and laugh,” she scolds us.
“Sorry miss,” River says, getting up, I did the same, trying to hold my laugh in, it’s the first time I get yelled at and still feel the urge to laugh, he’s driving me insane, I’m going insane cause of him, and I like it really.
“And don’t come back,” she calls after us, as we left.
“Do we tell Uncle about this?” I ask River once we’re out of the library going to look for him.
“Heck nah, do you want my ass to be in troubles?” he answers me.
“Hmm…no?” I answer him, I kind of liked him.
“Good then keep quiet, let’s go, you’re gonna ace your exam,” he says proud of himself.
