Since the day they were taken away, we finally had peace, we could sleep and wake up when we want, we aren’t expected to have sex with anyone, for the first time in years, I felt free. I know some of the humans have left, they decided that leaving was the better option, but I didn’t leave, I trusted them, and this trust is about to put to the test.
Noelle had no idea what’s gonna happen next, she told me that her Captain would find something out, but she’s a good friend, and she’s for some reason the only one I trust. I spent most of the day with her, she was nice to have around, and she treated me well, and when she gets news over our situation she tells me right away.
Apparently, we’re getting a new alpha, someone who’s related to our pack, and he’s coming to take over, I understood some of the wolf law and how things goes around here, the leader is the alpha and everyone got to obey it. But I also know and remember that Ronan Vile was the alpha when I was brought over, and then Asher took over when he left and never came back, he was just as much as a jerk as the last alpha
was.
To say I’m worried about this new alpha and what kind of a jerk that’s going to come, I’m terrified really, what if I’m forced to be a slave again, maybe I should’ve left instead of staying in here and gambling with my life yet again.

“No, not right away, we need to see him in action, make sure he’s good to all of you, and then we’ll leave, don’t worry, you’ll be in good hands.” Noelle promises me, but I don’t believe her, I don’t like the idea of this new wolf that’s unknown.
“When is he coming?” I ask her.
“Ezra will be making the announcement tomorrow morning, and he’s expected to arrive my noon,” Noelle says.
“All wolves live in packs, where is his? Why is volunteering as tribute?” I ask her with a raised brow, and she only chuckled.
“He was part of another pack and he’s leaving them to join yours, it happen all the time,” she assures me.
That night, I couldn’t sleep, something inside my soul said to be careful to take caution like we used to when Ronan and Asher were in charge, I went back to the home that I used to call mine, I had to hide some essentials, food, water, and a burner phone, I have the hotline we called last time still saved there, along with Noelle’s number.
I tried to stay cool, to be okay and wait for this Blake guy to come over, he can’t be as bad as the others right?

He got to know everyone, he then gave us small jobs to keep around the pack, he said we don’t have any enforcers or anyone to run patrol so he’s going to call some of his friends to come over and be just that.

The rest of us? Wolf and the few humans that were left, it was our job to cook for them, clean, take care of them, at first, it wasn’t that bad, it felt like we’re all one big family. But one evening Blake said that my food was too salty for his liking, and as a punishment, he had me whipped in front of the whole pack, and that was strike one.
Strike two was when one of the girls told me that Blake and his people have raped her, strike three, the one where I decided enough was enough we need to get rid of this jerk, was when he killed a young boy, a young wolf boy because his mother refused to have sex with him, saying that she’s loyal to her late mate.
I tried to act normally, as normal as my bruised back would allow me, I could see Blake eying my body, he’s just waiting for me to heal first so I could entertain him, I smiled, acted nice, and said I need to get some of my special clothes from my last home.
He sent guards with me of course, and I thanked my Jesus and their goddess for the feeling I had earlier that told me to hide things away, I got to the phone and blasted Noelle’s phone with SOS messages, hoping she’ll be able to come save me before I die here.
