Noelle POV.
You need to eat, train, and you’ll be right back on track, you don’t have to worry you got us with you, we’ll be here, don’t worry, we won’t let them have you back. Those are the words the trio kept on telling me, they kept promising me that things will get better, and I was starting to believe them now.
It’s been a week, every day I’d ask for the date, the year, and I’ll count the days, how many times the sun has gone up and down, I’m making sure the days never slip away from me again.
“I got you a gift,” Mateo says, walking into my room early in the morning, they want me to wake up early and go to sleep early, saying my body needs its time to heal.
“What kind of gifts?” I ask Mateo with a raised brow, his last gift was ice cream, I liked it, it’s been a long while since I had ice cream.
“Here, I got you a calendar so you’ll never loose days anymore,” he says setting it up on my wall, along with a pen, and he was pointing at today, Thursday.
“Come on, mark it, and you’ll do it again,” he says, and I finally got up from the bed, took the pen and did an X mark on the day before, marking that today was Thursday.

to ask them every single day what day it is, how long has passed, I marked all the days I have spent here, now I’m not getting lost again.
“Why are you crying, you don’t like spending time with us,” Mateo ask me, sounding terrified, they all been treating me so well and I almost had the tears under control.
“It’s so nice…you’re so nice,” I say and I hugged him tight, he hugged me back sounding relaxed again.
“Breakfast,” Ezra yells from downstairs.
“Brooklyn isn’t here?” I ask Mateo.
“Nope, she’s off to see her daughter,” he answer me.
“Will I ever get to meet the daughter?” I ask, I’ve been hearing so much about her, and she’s the reason I’m out, I’d like to meet her.
“Of course you will, when you join the station, she’ll be there to welcome you on your first day, it’s tradition,” he says making me smile. “Food, Mateo, Noelle, Now,” Ezra yells again from downstairs.
We went down to have breakfast with him, my plate was filled to the brim, and I ate all of it, and even asked for seconds, I got my appetite back, and I’m starting to gain some weight back, so I’m closer to be able to shift into my wolf form.
We went outside where they’ve been training me, they had me run, they had me doing push–ups, they had me doing hand to hand combat, and I told them stories about Thalia, my teacher back in the academy.

“I think I can do more,” I say, deciding to run some more, and do some more exercises, if I want to get better I need to train more, I can’t just stop every time I get tired.
“You need to take breaks,” Ezra calls after me, as I was pushing myself.
“I need to get stronger,” I say, feeling like I’m about to pass out from all the physical exhaustion.
“You’re gonna pass out, stop,” Ezra call out.
“Nope, you said I’m getting better, I gained two kilo back already,” I say, out of the sixteen I have lost in the last two years.
“Yes, and that’s great, but you need some more before you go back to your old routine,” Ezra says and I glared at him, I can go back to my old routine in no time.
“I can do this,” I object, and keep on going, but my heart kept beating so fast, but I ignored it, I’m a wolf, I always heal in just an hour or so, I won’t have a heart attack, I kept on running, maybe I can run it off, I’m in the wood, the real woods, we had trees all around us, we’re back to where every wolf dreams to be. I’m happy now, I’m safe now, and all I have to do is push my heart just a little bit more, one more step, my heart felt like it’s going to explode and then things went dark.
