By the time I came back to consciousness, I remembered everything that happened, I knew what this was about and what happened to me, I remember everything, and I’m awake now and I’m still pissed at them all. I sat up slowly, I didn’t do any sudden moves so they won’t know that my plan is to kill them all and get away from here, but when I looked around all I could see was Brooklyn. I don’t want to kill Brook, she’s a good captain and she treats me well, she was the one who was trying to help me through this place and wanted to get me out of this place.
“Wanna tell me what happened?” she asks me quietly.
“He talked about my family,” I say.
“Your family?” she repeats.
“He called me a bastard,” I say.
“That doesn’t include your family,” she says with a shrug.
“It does when he says that I’m a bastard and that my mother was raped,” I say, holding back the tears, I’m just angry, why the hell am I crying now?
“We’re alone Noelle,” she says in a calm voice, holding my hand.

“What now?” I ask her, I know things are going to be weird now.
“You’re in troubles again,” she says with a sigh.
“So, what,” I say with a shrug, I don’t care about troubles, it’s my middle name and hobby now.
“They’re taking you off Patrol,” she says sadly.
“I don’t like it anyway, you can have it back,” I say with a shrug.
“Noelle, I have said it already, don’t be an idiot, if you want to join my people, you need to show them you’re ready to be a team player, I had to put my name on the line to get you this offer, they don’t allow wolves who just joined to do anything, people spend year around here, do you want to lose ten years of your life! Do you think you’ll still have any of what you are now left!” she yells at me, she sounded angry and hurt by my action.
“Is it me you’re mad at me Noelle or what Brooklyn has been through,” I say in a cold voice, I was very steady and firm, but I didn’t deserve to be yelled at, I’m defending my honor and my friend.
“I’m sorry for taking it too far, Noelle, but this the reality of it, you’d be spending years here, you’ll be forgotten,” she says.
“My family…” I start wanting to say Mia, Mariano, Levent, Lotus, Nutmeg…all of them won’t leave me behind.
