Noelle POV.
“Are you listening to me?” Mateo asks, but I was gone, I wasn’t listening to him, my brain was off with anger, I was so furious right now, T’in not broken, I did nothing wrong, it’s their fault that I ended up here, he killed my friend, he was the one who was abusing his power and still it’s me the one who’s being thrown to the side.
“I’m not one of the broken wolves, I don’t need to be fixed,” I growl at Mateo, why was I brought here.
“Who said anything about being broken, you just need some help, that’s all, we all been here before,” Mateo tries to assure me, him saying that he’s been here won’t help me, I don’t care.
“I killed my friend killer! You can’t punish me for that,” I growl again, I have ditched my normal voice and turned into just growling.
“I know, I was there with you, we fought together Noelle, we ran the patrol together,” he says but that doesn’t make us best friends.
“That only makes us patrol mates, nothing more,” I growl at him.
“Well I prefer to count us all as friends, even as a family like Ezra said, so please, I’m begging you, don’t do anything stupid, let this place help you out,” he says in the same calm voice, it should’ve done something, we are friends, but I was on fire.
“I’m leaving,” I inform Mateo, they can’t keep me in, I don’t want to stay here, I want to leave, I’ll find my own place in this world, I’ll go

“You can’t leave, Noelle, it’s court order, you should obey them, you’d get into worse troubles,” he says, but that only got the anger rising in me, I went from angry to furious quickly, I turned my back to Mateo and started to walk, leaving the building behind me along with him and some other people that stopped and were looking at our quiet fight. I walked outside, I don’t remember where we came from when I first arrived, I was carried on and the tears were blurring my vision, but I know how to get outside and from there I’ll find my way.
“Noelle, you’ll get yourself in trouble, bad troubles, please,” he begs me, running after me, while I walked with so much confidence, if I look worried, they’d know that I’m up to something, but if you walk like you own the place, no one would ask where you’re going and why.
I finally found my way to the garden that Mateo has mentioned and just said it’s that way, not bothering to walk out with me, I saw that the garden had a tall fence surrounding it, and he calls this place not a prison, it sure as hell look like one.
But it’s nothing that my wolf can’t deal with, but before I could decide where my wolf is going to tore and run away, Mateo was invading my personal space again, standing nose to nose with me.
“Don’t,” he says.
“If this isn’t a prison, I get to leave,” I say in a growl.
“It’s not a prison and you can’t leave,” he says.
“I don’t give a fuck then, get out of my face,” I warn him, not wanting to hurt him, we have fought on the same side, he treated me so well before, and I count him as a friend, and I don’t want to actually hurt

“It won’t end well for you,” he says in the same calm voice, trying to get me to just stop, to think this through, but he doesn’t know me and doesn’t know when the anger hits, I can’t hold back anymore.
“I’ll try my luck,” I say with a smile, he looked terrified of me, he knew I was up to something, he should’ve called all of the damn guards, to tell them to get me back, but look at me, I’m free and I’m out.
“Noelle, for goddess‘ sake,” he yells at my back as I shifted into my wolf form getting everyone’s attention, including all the guards that wolf form getting everyone’s a were now looking at the angry wolf.
There was some yelling, some calling and Mateo begging them not to hurt me, saying I’m just new and scared, but I wasn’t scared, they’re the ones who should be terrified of me, not the other way around. I ran toward the fence, I could slash it with my nails, I could jump, I can just run through and hope for the best, I am fully healed after the last big battle, and I could take another hit.
I decided to jump, I’m fast, I’m light on my feet, I pounced and felt something hitting me in the back which made me hit the fence, and then couple of things happened. The fence is electrified, a high dose of electric voltage ran through my body was the shot that has hit me in the back was working on making me fall asleep, it must have been a tranquilliser.
Finally, to make things worse, I heard Mateo’s voice coming from behind me, he sighed and said ‘I told you so,‘ which only had missed off before I went into unconscious.
